After a divergence like that you highlighted was to be expected a short movement. If you go to see in the lower TFs you will find all the answers you need:

M15:
- 16:30 ADX compression
- 16:45 ADX expansion and fall of the green STO
M5:
- 16:15 ADX compression
- 16:35 ADX expansion and fall RSIOMa and green STO
M1:
- 15:56 ADX compression
- 16:57 ADX SHORT expansion with fall RSIOMA and Green STO
- 16:15 failed attempt to lift at 16:18
- 16:19 SHORT expansion ADX ADX separation with 89 and 144

All you can do on this one is what for the Green sto and 8,3,3 to top out and see where the DS is at that time, but yes, this is not a grade "A" setup with the RSIOMA and the green stoch are both rising............

When PA nears its highs there's often a last burst of buying (a buying climax using VSA terminology) and that could drive a final ADX expansion on the TF in question, on H1 there was an expansion but H4 ADX is contracting...

It does look like it is setting up for a retracement on the H1/H4 and like you say Marco, I'm watching to see if a lower high (3rd wave) setup forms on H1/H4. The RSIOMA has fallen sharply on H4, leading the DS down - Alien - I have noticed recently this often signifies a move that will carry through (still a work in progress idea) - can you confirm this? But not much to go with on the D1 yet, just falling momentum at the moment. As you can see the Divs have been building for a while...

All week long USDCAD made a 5 wave move long......on the H1

You have RSIoma for wave 1 long, for a impulse wave. ADX expansion, 2 small pushes,

Then you have DS resting on the way down for a retrace, wave 2,

Then you have the DS wave 3 trade long for another impulse wave 3. ADX expansion

Then the RSIoma and DS retrace again for wave 4 resting,

Then you have the last wave 5, ADX expansion, impulse wave.

Now being at the end of the week and Month , the last few hours after the Divergence , was very fast profit taking for the week.

You could have dropped down to the M5 and caught the move down, Divergence is a very strong signal, I think it is market manipulation by the Market Makers to over drive the price high and grab it out from under you in a few hours , when most are not looking............

Also , look at the M5 green sto and the 100,10,10 slow sto are moving in parallel at light speed to the down side, the profit taking for the end of month and week.

The ADX did what it was supposed to do, Climb under safe load while climbing, the ADX can not pick up the fast profit taking after divergence or market manipulation on higher TF's , for this you would drop to the M5 amd the ADX was working correct in the fast paced drop................

This is why Alien trades Multiple Time Frames as to pick up on these changes..........

EA daily shows divergence down which it has started...........

H4 is nearing a bottom but has more room to go..............

DS trade down on the H1 as you pointed out , should bring a bit more , but look at lower TF's............for confirmation

M15 is nearing a bottom , but the ADX has longer term sell going on yet.

M5 has a small DS short in progress, with ADX expansion, soon to find a bottom ..........

Wait for a pull back and hit it again...............

It was impossible to trade that move down on HTF, and since i have a full time job i can only look to 1H,4H and daily charts for trades (those are the timeframes that i like and suit my lifestyle), i may also scalp after work on 5min charts. :nerd:
