How often do u trade?

I must say this is a useless post because asking others how many trades do others take without understand their strategies will absolute NOT help your trades, or even mislead your whole operation by using such references.

It is almost like when you are looking for the fastest car by asking hey how fast do people normally drive on the local. Everyone gives you a different answer without telling you why. Well, some would state the reason why, but in general, the answer you are seeking does NOT help your trade.

I try to make 2-3 trades per day, but there are days when i do not trade at all. I do not like to have more than 5 open positions at a time. It all depends on when i close positions from previous day. Sure there is many things to take into consideration before opening a position.

Depends on market situation .. at average around 150 - 400 trades/scalps a week
And i trade around 40 weeks a year.

It defends from you trade strategy; intraday – tens trades per week, longterm – may be some trades per year.

Depends on the market really,I would say about 5-10 a week

trading frequency is really not important

the thing to get successful trading is, after all, you have an EDGE.

when you clearly grasp your edge (know what heck it is), you will of coz know how frequently you can have trades.

you find your entry come once per year? no problem, just enter 30% of your account for that 1 entry.

Only when the market tells me to trade. I trade my method and nothing else.

Automated - Bots average about 300 trades per month.

Manual - Very little. I see no point in trading anything else but very high probability opportunities, and these are not frequent.

Just curious, what exactly do you mean by "trade too much"? Tried working it out but after a few hours on the charts, damn tired and cannot think straight for the moment..

This depending on strategy, no. Long term, medium term, or short term trades. Only trading if market giving the good setup. So number not apply. Maybe 0 maybe 100. Market is telling me when to take trades.

Depends, my best days are when I only have to make a couple trades. When I take more then 10 round trip trades per day I usually profit less or just lose money. Just follow your system and dont trade just to trade.

wow i do 2 or 3 trades a month too much trading will cause you to loose your funds in my book

usually 2 hours daily is enouh for me, and i'm have 3 open orders max. simultaneously. For me to be successful in Forex you must be patient.

I spend 3-4 hours per day. I also like to do scalping. I try to maximize the best trading conditions from my broker. I stop trading if i have be able to get my target. But i also do not force my self especially when market is not good for OP

About 10 - 15 trades per week. Trading on 01hr & 04hr charts only

5-7 on chart, rest bactesting any possible strategies, and also developing several websites.
normally 1-2 a day, bu sometimes less 10 a month, it;s all depend on the market, why forced to trade when we already know going to lose anywy.
