or set the background to "none" with width as 0

all rather flat into FO after a quieter AustralAsian session - the only mover I noticed was GJ a couple of hours ago - oh, and EA too....

I am just not sure what the single line represents? when the single line changes colour is that like a cross in the fast and slow line of the conventional stochastic?
Further to that does it means we cant se how wide the mouth is? am I on the right track?

Here is the other version that shows two lines, so you should be able to see the mouth....

Whilst waiting for LO - I have had some questions about the ribbon.....first, its a very visual trend indicator - the wider the red / green band, the stronger the trend, so do NOT trade against it!.

Second, it will always be slow at the turns, so I just watch the fast EMA -( now the 25EMA and my 60 is now also an EMA) and allow myself to enter as soon as price crosses it AND the line changes colour....I hope this helps.....

Morning again
My question is for those using the color line Stoch,
I have attached a shot of it up against the normal ultra stoch two lines
Obviously you three (Islander, Panama and Rooi ) are using the bottom stoch in the example I have given with the green line or slower moving line blacked out.
So your using the blue and red line only but I see the blue and red line changing colour has no correlation to a cross.
Just wondering if you could explain how your using it or with what rules you are applying to it for your entrys.

Hmmmm....one trade for me... A Short EA shhhhhhhhortly after FO. Worked very well. Wat was your trade? Was it a fresh signal? NO GBP trading for me until after GDP numbers due in 1 hr.

FWIW, I personally do not trade off the 1 min in isolation. I trade EA and GJ, with MArty's set up on 5 min and 15m charts. When they agree with the 1 min using ultrastoch they have been excellent trades.

****edit...keep n mind he sample size has been small so far

Taking a break from it till after the news.

Could have finished off better with the last trade.Just shows how our(my) mental stated deteriorates after a bit of a whipshawing.

EDIT : Just had to stick to my guns as the UJ was making new high's on every push.OH well we live and we learn

This morning I was monitoring 1m GU and UJ as well as the 5m charts.....the 1m allowed me to take this trade..

Ref. the Ultra Stochs, for me its their levels that are most important. M15 < 20 = Sell Zone, so only sell. M15 > 80 = Buy Zone, only Buy. Above the 50 Level, Buy with care. Below 50, sell with care. Then use the cycles of the 5m stoch - together with the matrix and 25 ema - to time entries.

That's the simple version - monitoring higher TFs etc is also part of the process.....

Here we go Ill try and explain as best possible

Lines number in chart

#1 Your stock crosses but flat on top of each other (leaving a bit of doubt)
My stock is blue and I have no doubt

Normal stoc is starting to open and it tells you,you can go long
color stoch is blue and so is long.


#2 Then lines up the matrix for me as I dont have the bottom two bars then siganl bar high gets taken out and I can enter if I want

#3 Normal stoch line sits on top of each other.
color stoch is red so no doubt for me

Also the matrix lines up so I can draw a sinal line but price does not break it so no entry

#4 Normal one starts to open but Im not too happy because they are sitting on top of each other really.
color stoch blue so now Im waiting for the matrix

#5 matrix lines up

#6 breaks the signal line and Im long and no problem with my stoch to figure out what is is doing as I just glance down to see the color as I need to focus on the PA

#7 & 8 leaves the normal stoch lines on each other while I just have glance and chech the color on the color changing stoch

#9 is easy as the color stoch is red then matrix turns red followed by the signal line(the high or low of the signal candel) gets taken out and im short.

All in all it leaves much less to for me to think about because there is plenty to take into considereation already I just want to check the color of the stock not try to figure out which side the line is and if it opening or closing.Is this the only way to do it?Certainly not.Look at Strada's charts he has the old school ultraStoch.

Down to how and what you need to find out from the indicator.

Sound interesting.Let see how it develops.develops. Plenty of info and variations going round at the moment so there is bound to be lots of helpful information to take in everywhere.
