Only if you install the beta in a way that makes this happen. My beta installs have updated from 574 to 577 last night and my live 509 builds are unaffected.

The "new" MT4 is due to go live on the 3rd Feb and I suspect, not been told anything officially, that it will be rolled out to all MT4 users without any choice.

If your code uses offline charts . . . fix it quick, the .hst file format is changing.

The update just happens when you least expect it
some brokers have been trying it out but not too many yet

most indicators have many errors in the New MT4 or just a few warnings
and some of the more complex indis won't run at all anymore, esp those with DLLs

but seems a strange way to update software, if Microsoft had just killed XP and left everyone with Vista their shares would of tanked the same day and they would of had to make a u turn, but for some reason MQ's seems to think they are different

MQs seem content with just pushing it and just letting everyone else fix any problems, never mind the millions who use and rely on MT4 everyday

When I say unfixable, I mean it is easier to start from scratch. Considering the time constraints, how long will that take and how much will it cost? Because money is the only sensible means of rationing a scarce resource.

i have 574 on Alpari (Demo)

Just be prepared for bugs, try attaching an Indicator then check the Indicator list, you may well find two copies attached . . .

Not sure, but it seems that the recently fixed indicators stopped working after update to 577. So we may not need fixing the recent code...
It is probably a bug, but if they mean to go live on February 3, I would not expect such a defect so close to the release date.

That's a fact that MT always give new build to be tested by traders. So we shouldn't expect a bug free build

Does anyone know of any other brokers other than Alpari?

I think I wanna test drive the 574 for a while and see if my current indics will still work.
I'm not trying to convince anyone. I'm not in the "convincing" business.

In my opinion, we should all wait for a stable version before testing anything.

Seeing all these problems coming, I bet that most serious brokers will delay the automatic upgrade. Even if brokers are not specially on our side (!), I doubt that they want to see us all running away to other solutions.

You can get the beta direct from MetaQuotes . . . but do it following my instructions: install new MT4 beta

I think most Brokers will roll out on the 3rd Feb . . . will most do any of their own testing ? I doubt it.

The broker I am using since years (for coding purpose ... I don't trade with MT4!) never upgraded the new incoming builds if they were unstable. They have skipped many builds in the past.

Please guys back to my question...., is there anyone that can help me and modify this code to show a dot and a signal when the price action is crossing those band, sounds simple but i just dont know how..., please it will be very helpful and kind of you if you do.

Apparently my broker, MBTrading, has decided to roll out the 574 build...as I just got auto updated today. Several of my scripts are busted, along with the "P4L Clock" indi. Thankfully I do not use any indicators in my trade decisions...but the clock and scripts I use all the time...very annoying.

that was not your question... you said you had a compile error not that you wanted the indicator changed..... you need to be clearer about what you want and what the errors are
