Sooo. Last-night I decided to try this no indicator method and went short (S1) on the breakout of the range and then again (S2) after the break of what I thought was a pullback... Didn't work out so well.

Trading without indicators is taking some getting used to.

Eddy, if you can answer this question, awesome, if not, I completely understand.

At the time those seemed like good trades to place.

1. 3 Kingdoms were in sync.
2. EU D1, H4, H1 and M15 were all bearish candles.
3. EU D1 was in a short term downtrend.
5. Good rejection at the top of that M5 range.

But it went 100% in the opposite direction.

What did you see that I missed?

Hi Jakey i´m still learning the markets myself, ultimately whithout indicators too, using only price
as a guide, althougth i´m not DONGKSY (i wish) i will give my view on that so a discount is needed as i´m still
learning this way.

I think you were correct for going short, but you missed the fact that the market broke the low or prior
day and quickly snap back up, this is a sign that big boys have no interest in pushing price lower at least
for now. Usually there is pockets of orders waiting to be filled at these lows (limits sells stops( from BO TRADERS)
and stops orders from previous buyers), so if the low is broken and quickly comes back up this shows
that there is no interest in taking it lower and those orders were used for a discount on a large buy order.

Further confirmation then comes on the impulse up and hh-hl showing bull strengh.

Hope i don´t confuse you anymore Jakey, that´s only my view

jakey, what you saw is probably the same as what i saw with euro, at the same time of day, of the same time frame...

i was looking at 3 kingdoms... yes it was insync - this to me means that the trend can be strong ... so knowing this, i already know what to do once the market starts showing her hands... and once i see the trend then i know it will be a strong once...

EU D1,h4,h1 & 15m windows were all bearish... yes it was then... but remember, when price is too far from mean, it will normally revert... and if for whatever reason will pick up momentum and volatility during reversion... then could signal for a prossible change of trend. (remember laws of phusics)

EU D1 was in a short term downtrend??? how did you know??? I don't know what do you mean... first a day tf is not a short period to dance with...

that rejection candle you saw at 15m tf was not a valid signal to me... it's more on duck hunting by the sharks... remember that was a sideway price action
it was barely moving that time... therefore market maker normally pump in some pips and stir market a little bit giving a false volatility... all i saw that zone was, orderflow pointing to the north... that rejection you are talking about is more of a sweeping action...

it was ranging... any price action outside the zone was sweepoing action...

what you saw was the same as what i saw... but the difference between your call and mine was how we digest the information absorbed by our eyes and filtered it through and process by our brain...


and one more thing, by watcing price action, i tried feeling her... as she pulsates...

i always ask myself questions... what if... what if... what if...

don't worry it's okay to ask so long as you're doing something when price action answers your 'what if'

You've got a point there Luis... if you can feel her... it will be more easy for you to flow... technical analysis sometimes don't need too much confirmation... once the feel is right... just dance go with flow... if wrong... assess current positions... and act... wether to rescue or kill... whichever you choose will lead you to one thing... and vital... capital preservation.

one more thing Jakey... if you can, try not to look to your left... you will end up guessing and predicting... instead of feeling and speculating... although it's nice to use it for referencing to confim something... but not until price already visited the same area... little too late...

try to feel and look on your right ... always... and ask yourself... what if... and try to answer your questions...

Thanks Dongsky, something that i´m also looking lately is size, playng with something that i´m confortable with and don´t claud my judgement

you try to do a research of money management... this is crucial for success...

with a proper money management... you will define your risk of how much you're willing to take against your actual equity

knowing your actual risk or defining one will tell or suggest you of how much percent you can play around with your skews...

and only then you will figure what is your size... per lot according to your risk percentage

here it will tell you if micro, mini or standard lot or more you can afford ...

and you will know how much you can skew...
