question for Rooi and Islander,

With regards to your multiple TP, are you trading 1 entry with partial exits, or individual trades. Do you trade set lot sizes or risk %? If you re-enter a continuation trade do you use a full sizing or enter a partial size to reload a full position?

I currently trade 1 entry, risk based, and use Easy Order script to do so. I will take a partial, move SL to BE+1, and look for target based on Pivots. The second part of the trade is where I can screw myself by jumping the SL, thus getting stopped out (in profit) while PA goes to my target.

Thanks and yes, the combination of the ribbon and 5m / 15m stochs works well and I'm finished for now.....back for NY

Yes 2 TPs on "2 positions" with an quick first target and try to catch a bit of a runner on the second.Second Im still working on the tp exit conditions.But for now I just follow the "best price" scenario.

When I re enter its only half as of the position or my TP2 as its a weaker signal.I like to trade the first cross of the MA's

Dont worry to much about the real time aspect.Worry about your trading and the results.

Ok. Perfect. Just trying to figure out the rules of the thread. I have never been one to post pics, but in fiddling around with the built in Take a Picture within MT4, it does what I need. I have tried a few screen capture programs for the annotation aspects, but I can't get them to do what I want. Too many screens and cropping different areas is a pain.

No rules really.Just common manners and decency.Everyone does their own thing. A million ways to do it right.No need to fight over what works better.Just do what you do.

Cropping is a pain with the "print screen" function.

Easiest way is to right click on chart,save as picture,select the post online in MQL box.

That give a url to your chart and it takes seconds.

30 EMA on the close .green.
150 EMA on the close .red. (about the same as the 30 on the 5min)

The 150 is my main one I use.

Nice trade.

Its always tough when we are pretty convinced about the direction and then we see the move starting but our indicators are to "slow" to catch it.

All in all it worked nicely but I try to stay away from breaking the rules although it pretty tough

Looks like weak numbers out of China and USA and strong PMI from Europe are causing a strong move in EURO And YEN. However I think the weak pricing in Europe will see this EUR move short lived. Yen may well strengthen into next weeks FED. Just my .02

Not to big on the fundie side of things but.Looking for EU to stall here.(wont give me a trade just yet but looking for it to start topping)

As for Yen - Recon 103 will be the place to where the next push higher comes from so I agree with you.Yen strength.

With all of that said I just trade technical's so far from an expert.

I am a CFA so fundamentals and especially shifts and surprises within them always are of interest. They also are the building blocks to prolonged trend shifts. However, my short term trading within those trends is all based on technicals.
