Hello Mark, any progress of your EA building?
I have been thinking that if we could make an EA combining all the indis as I find it tough to follow the right signal at the right time.
I have a definite plan, just need to execute but because of .ex4 files I am unable to do that.

I am a little bit lost in this thread. The system discussed now has only little to do with the original layed out systems of Mihailo.
Yesterday I installed Casyopeas package (post #2315). I replaced RenkoLiveChart version with RenkoLiveChart_v3.4.ex4.
It became some kind of fiasko.
All NASAP-indicators uninitialized and removed themselves from the chart. The same did all FL-indicators.
RenkoLiveChart is running but I do not get a Renko chart. The Chart is shown in the timeframe I choose, 1min, 5min, 15 min ...
If I drop Heiken Ashi I have no bars or bricks at all.
A restart of MT4 does not help.

Are there any additional indicators, templates or EA from post #1 to copy to the folders in MT4?

One of them repaints, but the "TRUE" one doesn't repaint. Don't be afraid of repaint issue, put them on your chart and see the results. Sometimes "repaint" is not so bad.
In the indicators attached in the compressed file, TMA is called FL02 or something like that, if you install the template you'll be able to see all the settings.

Dear, have you installed the template properly in an offline chart with non-standard timeframe?
You have to install the expert (RenkoLiveChart) on M1 and in the settings use a timeframe like M3, M4, M6,...
Then open the offline chart with the timeframe you've used and apply the template to that offline chart.

There isn't additional indicators from post #1 to add to the folders on MT4, I think.

And I know that this system nowadays has only a little to do with the original that Mihailo showed us, but is my personal evolution. As I see it, every trader must "change" an original system and "play" enough to feel comfortable with it, adding indicators, or changing the settings. I'd like everyone to share their opinions, their systems and maybe different indis or settings.

I suggest you to look at NASAP's version, in this thread. Maybe it feels more comfortable to you.

yes,normal to be a little bit lost since everybody adapt the renko charts but imo, a thing you mustn't forget is that even in the mihailo's system, he was regarding higher "TF" if i can say( with his little chart in the left bottom corner and was looking some other TF according to THV system(without forget coral) ) to be in the right direction,

i didn't test casyopea strategy but looks to have great results so you can try that and if it's not good for you , look to trade with the trend,it can't be bad ! that's sure
good start on usdollar with mix of renko and alien system ( and some of my tricks ) ( hesitate to continue to post here looked at like so far from the original system...perhaps will be better on a general renko post )

Has anyone had problem getting a renko chart since the mt4pdate. I use fxdd and now the charts will not update no idea what to do all I did was open my platform and now this..
I hate MT they really should give people an option to update instead of just making them do it.

Any ideas???

HELLO MT4 still work with renkolivechart, so check your internet connection or your broker server could be the problem. i will like you to try it in other mt4 brokers and see the difference.

Are the offline charts correct?

If yes, Go to the list of currencies on the left hand side of your MT4
click on the same currency as on your chart and drag and drop it on to your screen

If the offline charts are not there, you'll have to install them again

Thank you for the responses. I have been using the Renko EA chart builder before. I spent all day yesterday on the phone with my broker. The problem is not the indicator it is the MT platform. In case anyone is not aware the new build 574 is due to come out soon. My broker used a beta version and updated me automatically. There is a bug in the new version and it is a major one.

Something about the .hst file. I have the new version now (574) and while the offline charts still work indicators that are not standard issue to the platform itself do not. To get them to work they need to be recompiled and if the code is not original to the build or has simply been copied it will error out and freeze the platform.

I contacted MT directly yesterday and was informed that the changes are to cut down on pirated copies of software that have been decompiled illegally and close backend issues. They directed me to a number of "preferred" coders who could recode my indicators or develop new ones to replace the ones that will not work, for a fee of course.

I submitted the semafor and the new TMA and both were rejected as pirated and not of "original format".

I tried to go back to a 509 and was able to thru FXCM but am told that the update will be forced anyway.

So for now I can trade using the indicators but have much doubt that these will work in the future.

To me sounds like MT wants a piece of the third party coding business and has gone the way of trade station.

If anyone else has info we have a few days before this 574 goes standard hopefully we can find a way to protect what we have. I know my junk mail has been hit heavy with offers of Renko indicators for the new build and really hope I don't have to invest in those. The pallada wont even work and I bought that one.

Check your build sounds like exactly what happened to me. Go to about Help>About> look for build number if it's 574 welcome to the club.

But remember that this new release of MT4 is still unstable so use it carefully.

PS. to create standard renko chart, just set percentage shift to 100 %
to create mean/median renko chart just set percentage shift to 50 %
and of course for my georenko chart set the percentage shift to 12.5 %

Thank you for the indicator. My problem is not the Renko I have that. Even with yours my indicators will not show up on the offline chart I get "illegal use" on the bottom of the charts.

Question what do you mean "unstable" do you mean the indicator itself or the platform.

The New MT4 platform.. lol, definitely not stable at this moment, they still keep updating with new builds start from 574 until now 579 in only several days, that mean the platform not yet stable..and keep changing..

about 'illegal use' warning of your indicator(s), do you open the mq4 file codes ? if you see that it was decompiled version of mq4 file,(usually purebeam job.. lol) then yes, since build 509 , you can't use that kind of piracy files

To solve the problem just wait until the new MT4 platform become more stable, in I believe there's a lot of our friend here will help to re-writen or adjust the old indicators mq4 files for compatibility with this new platform
