You obviously cant comprehend that a margin call will stop you out anyway, the chance that a 700 pip stop will stop you out will still cause less damage than a margin call, supposing that you have proper lot size.

But they don't always come back,.even at 700 pips before MC you can expect to lose an account atleast once per year.


I would have to trade at 25% current lot size to get 700pips before an MC.


It's better to have smart entries with tight but solid SL placement, with low odds on being hit, but thats just me.

I just don't.

TK and London typically play a very narrow channel before NFP and so then it boils down to waiting until all this is over before you can work into End Of Week market...

After the smoke clears, trade on...

For me, I prefer to just take a long weekend...

It's a personal thang.

BTW will anyone trade the USD pairs on monday? Looks like its a bank holiday in the US, so not much liquidity is expected.I`m more concerned about the E/U.

Hmm, maybe the CNY GDP report can put some pressure in the USD, since they are good trading partners.

But if the market will be very flat, then i think i`ll stick with the NZD report's aftermath.I`ll just buy or sell 15-30 min after the report is released and hope that the shock of the news will have a long lasting impact.

I also hope it will be bullish for the NZD to get some swaps.
