it looks like traders want other platforms but will they really move from MT4 that is the question!

Couldn't help but respond to this, because it is so true!

I made 1,800% this week (actually in 2.5 days)... but couldn't keep it. Then made 700% the following day but couldn't keep that either...

You rock, Mr. Hanover! NO WAY you can quit forex! Or leave this thread. Your contributions are invaluable!

I feel your concerns because after 4-5 years or so of trading (not quite as long as your 7 years, but still, long enough), I am in a similar position.

But I would still advise you that at this point, I think one of the worst things you can do would be to give up.

You've already put in the time, effort, and money, and you've far surpassed the learning curve. You know everything there is to know (in order to be profitable). I am guessing... like me... it is probably the discipline that you lack.

And I'd hate to see you, or Mr. Hanover here, give up on trading (or development) when you are probably soooooo close to the answer... to what you and we all have been working so hard for all this time.

There is an answer, or method, or solution to whatever it is that you're searching for, and I'm going to guess that it's probably a bit more logical or rational that you might expect, because I believe that simplicity is the key to almost everything.

Don't give up now because it's precisely when you're at your lowest that things start to turn around.

Btw (to stay on the topic of the thread), I am also looking forward to MT6... if there is ever going to be one. Also, I don't know if I could interest you in working on ONE MORE strategy with me, but I am trying to develop the holy grail and before you say it's not possible, I'd implore you to learn more about my system and method before you proceed to critique it. Anyway, if you (or anyone) is interested, please give me a holla!

Why to be fully bugged?

Nah, i think MT4 is already established and very popular, what better do you want, maybe a few new features and updates from time to time, but i hope they dont change the core and the structure of it.

Ticket trading and stuff is very good, also the execution speed is nice too.

I think MT4 is the best platform ever, so i hope i can trade on it even after 20 years from now
