Hi strada,

Could you provide a link to, or paste the ultra stoch that you are using (want to try it ou, tried to find it myself, it is not in the posted indies section of this thread, could not find it in other threads that I follow).

The indicator is here. I use it without any min/max settings or any other levels, you may prefer to have them though.

Thats keeping nice and calm.

I find my second exit to be much more controlled once I dump the first half of it.Need to work on my confidence with this.

As the year progresses getting my TP 1 bigger is really a top priority fro me as it adds much better to the total pip count and helps with those ones that go against you.I will have to spend some time collecting data on this.Will do something similar to what you did with bago.

GU signal 7.45; entry 7.48; TP1 +8

Update 8.07. TP2 +20. first sign of hesitation once price broke through the number. total 47 is good for me. Enjoyed that last trade, in before London open, TP1 banked, TP2 on a free ride into the open (had stop set at +7) and because we never know what the direction will be at that time, I could sit back and enjoy the ride.

Very nice.

Thats the advantage of the faster MA and other tools.Its just to busy for me as it give to many signals.I will look how to adapt it in future.For now its just slow and steady

This is the difficult balancing part of the strategy Rooi. Either taking the early smaller profit on TP1 or aiming for a higher one. Pros and cons for either. Smaller tp1 means putting your trade into profit early but there will be occasions when it will be too early if price comes back and closes the rest of your trade at BE and then turns and moves on in the direction of your trade and you are left sitting on your hands (albeit with a profit but possibly a small one in relation to the size of the move). The higher TP1 will more often cause you to go back into the minuses, and then you're thinking you could have had +8 or 10 etc. So a difficult quandary. For what it's worth, especially trading 1min charts, I most definitely prefer the lower and more realistic TP1. Although I'm fairly aggressive on entries I like to be as stress free as possible and the lower TP1 helps greatly in that regard. If there's a decent move on then I'll let TP2 take care of that.
Just my 0.02c worth, it's a good idea to watch how often both scenarios play out, I'll be doing it cause the old rules from bago may not entirely suit G1m.

I agree.Will have make the decision in the next week or so and just live with it for a while till I get enough screen time in using this system to colect some info and make a more concrete decision.

I might have a look at some variations and see what it can deliver.The problem is altough the patterns are the same many morings there is till a great deal of variation to the different ways the morning plays out.

I might consider adopting the some of the Gen1min in the coming months to help with the earlier entry with better SL and easier run to TP1 if you understand what I mean.

Hi Rooi, first trade was long from the 6.48 signal, delayed the entry and got a good fill with very cheap SL, closed at -3 (2 tp's so -6)

Short trade TP1 +7 and sl now at BE. Will put chart on later when finished.

Update. closed half of TP2 for 12 (so +6),
and now just closed the other half for 6 (so +3), total for trade +16.

Update 8.03. Re-enter tp2 at 8.01

Closed half for 6 (=+3), SL now @BE

You always micro manage extremely well.

Not a easy start this morning im my opinion and all the pairs are not sitting were I like them,

Out for +11 on that so +13 at the moment.Almost half way as my daily target is +30
