Attached update now sorts symbols alphabetically if half symbol IDs (see post #52 for explanation) are entered in the Currencies parameter; and leaves currencies (pairs) in the order you entered them, if full symbol IDs are entered.

To install:
--- Download the .mq4 and .ex4 files to your ....(MT4)/experts/indicators folder.
--- Download the .mqh files to your ....(MT4)/experts/include folder (note: the .mq4 file will not compile correctly without these).

--- Then exit and restart MT4.


Depends on your parameter settings. The attached image (legend) explains the column data, if the default settings are used.
If you blank out a parameter setting, that column is not displayed (e.g. if you set ShowSpread to blank, then column G is not displayed).


Parameter Settings

Currencies — you can enter either:
(1) 'half symbols', and every possible combo-cross will be output (e.g. entering EUR,GBP,JPY will result in EURGBP, EURJPY and GBPJPY being output — but GBPEUR, JPYEUR and JPYGBP will be rejected because your br0ker does not offer these pairs);
OR
(2) full symbol IDs (e.g. entering AUDUSD, EURJPY will result in AUDUSD and EURJPY being output).

In both cases, to save typing, you can use the following abbreviations:
A=AUD
C=CAD
E=EUR
F=CHF
G=GBP
J=JPY
N=NZD
U=USD
e.g. to have AUDUSD output you could type AU (or au)

Suffix — whatever you type here will be appended to all currency symbol IDs, e.g. enter m, then symbols displayed will be EURUSDm, GBPUSDm etc. Saves having to type the m each time, in the Currencies parameter.

FontNameAndSize — enter the font name (must be the correctly spelled name of a currently installed Windows font) and size, separated by a comma. Data will be displayed using this font/size.

WindowCornerHposVposVspacing — determine the screen position settings: (1) window#, (2) corner (TR=top right, BL=bottom left, etc), (3) start horizontal pixel, (4) start vertical pixel, (5) vertical spacing (pixels between lines). All entries must be separated by commas.

ADRdays — the number of market days to be used in the ADR calculation. To include Saturdays and Sundays, include an S in the field also.

RefreshPeriod — how often the data will be re-displayed. Entering a T will cause a re-display ion every new price tick; entering a valid timeframe/period ID (M1,M5,H4,D1, etc) will cause a re-display on the first new tick on the candle of that timeframe (e.g. every 5 minutes if you enter M5); enter +0 to represent the current chart's timeframe; +1, +2, +3, etc for the next longer timeframes, or -1, -2, -3 etc for the next shorter timeframes.

Each of the Show.... parameter entries must be entered like this:
[sort/filter];[display format]

Sort criteria:
--- Entering a forward slash ( / ) causes the list to be sorted in ascending order, according to the values in this column.
--- Entering a backward slash ( \ ) causes the list to be sorted in descending order, according to the values in this column.
You can sort by one column only. If no setting has either type of slash, then the sort works by symbol ID, as described in the first section of this post.

Filter: Enter an operator followed by a value, e.g. setting ShowSpread to >3 means that only pairs whose spread is greater than 3 will be displayed.
Valid operators are:

> (greater than)

< (less than)

>= (greater than or equal to)

<= (less than or equal to)

= (equal to)

!= (not equal to)

You can enter filters for multiple parameters (columns), in which case ALL criteria must be met, in order for a pair to be displayed.
See post #29 for more detailed examples.

Display format: This is explained in post #49. Also, note that you can enclose characters inside apostrophes (single quotes) at the left and/or right of the display mask, and the characters inside the apostrophes will be displayed, as is, at the left or right side of the field.
For example, suppose the spread is currently 2.5 pips, and you've entered ShowSpread as ;'spread='R+3.2' pips'
then the result displayed in the column will be
spread= +2.5 pips

You can make the spacing between each column wider/narrower by increasing/decreasing the number of places to the left of the decimal point. Or you can include spaces inside apostrophes at the left or right of the field.

NOTE: each row (i.e data for a pair) is displayed as a single text object. In older versions of MT4, the maximum displayable size of a text object was 61 characters; any excess characters on the right were truncated. I'm not sure if this still applies in builds 500 onward.

OutputFile — leave this blank, and data will not be output to a file. A non-blank entry means that data will also be output to a file of that name, in the ..../(MT4)/experts/files folder.

so is (C) the current distance from the open, or the maximum excursion in one direction from the open?

and, is it or is it not true that (H) is the commission paid for capturing an average days range ? this is the average
spread, for an avg day, and it is paid for.

C = current distance from then open
H = the current spread expressed as a % of the ADR, e.g if spread is currently 1.5 pips and ADR is 150 pips, then H would be 1%.

thanks. when you say amount 'paid' in swap, you mean amount paid by the broker, not by the trader. correct? if so it seems more fitting to call this something like amount gained, from the trader perspective.

If displayed value is positive: trader receives swap from br0ker.
If displayed value is negative: trader pays swap to br0ker.

Is it possible to limit the currency pair ?
I mean i want main pairs like USDJPY,EURUSD,GBPUSD,USDCHF,AUDUSD,NZDUSD and not other cross pairs.

Yes it is. Already explained in posts #52 & #65. You can add any instrument that's offered by your br0ker.

Type either currencies or pairs into Currencies parameter. See post #65 for more info.
