With the CB data later, PA so far is very subdued......I managed ~ 20 pips from this little fall

I've put the actual BBs back as IMO the BB squeeze light fails to duplicate the info shown by the actual bands....like the small squeeze ~ 8:19 GMT

Nice one which I noticed too. Now that UJ's heading up, GJ's having a little bounce too....IMO best to bank a few and take the rest of the morning off....who knows what the Central Bankers will say....

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the Delayed Stochastic reprinting occasionally. On the EJ just now the Delayed Stoch slingshot when it was originally drawn (and had crossed back up) stayed above the 50 level, it was shallow. But checking it a few minutes ago it is now a lot deeper and below the 50 level. My colleague Shivas also noticed this. On this occasion the original DS position was enough to make me doubt the trade as the DS very shallow, didn't fall below 50. If it was where it is now below 50 I would have taken the trade (isn't hindsight great!). Unfortunately haven't got a screenshot of its original position but here is what it looks like now. (there was an entry a bit later on M1 though when the ADX started expanding). [Edit: broker is Forex.com]

Hi

nice trade on GU.
I didnt short GU as my entry criteria must have ADX expanding / flying.
But the small BB contraction did break out downside. Good for you.

Check the levels you are looking at. Are they plotted by the DelayStoch or the RSIOMA ?

this is what I have - the last entry would be just from the delayed stoch in the BB squeeze, so I'll start to watch for repainting too....

Good point Ferrufx the 50 level was on the RSIOMA. I've deleted it on the RSIOMA and put it on the Delayed stoch (used a black colour to confirm the 50 line is different). But the DS looks exactly the same.

Actually I lie....the DS has moved down even further now {Edit: nearly touching the 20]....interesting. ok let me leave it on both for a while and see what happens. [Edit: and both RSIOMA and DS 50 levels are in exactly the same spot on the chart]

I confirm : the DD stoch repaints. Tested in the backtester.

This chart has 80,50,20 levels on both the delayed Stoch and RSIOMA (I'm using the RSIOMA light version to save system resources, but I just checked that the normal RSIOMA prints the same ). The levels are all in exactly the same spot, they are overprinting each other.

You can see now the delayed stoch has touched the 20 level, its definitely got lower as time has progressed over these three charts I have posted on this.

What I saw is at least the bars display on chart.

However I wouldn't worry too much about this. Keep in mind that all the great calls posted here by Alien were live calls ... and they gave exactly what we were expecting ...

It's still repainting now on the live chart and that's about 22 bars later. Also the DS cross has moved. You can also see on my first chart the DS cross back up occurred almost right on the London open line. On my last chart its a few bars later.

I think the issue is not a problem for good DS divergences that drop to the bottom during live trading, we see them often enough and they work like a gem, but reviewing history might be a problem as shallow DS live might be turning into deeper ones later.

AUS/AUD
Daily - BB squeeze on daily D. Stochastic going up (and then maybe down again) green sto. and 8.3.3. just crossing
H4 - all ADX green expanding, Sto. all flattering and RSIOMA heading 20.
H1 - RSIOMA under 20, mixed ADX and Sto. 8.3.3. going up
15 M - BB squeeze and mixed ADX and Sto.
5 M. - BB squeeze and ADX down Sto. up
Let see if they align.
