yeah, in 1h chart yes.

but if timeframe is smaller, i use 50 or 56 config.

TMA dont repainst baby,

maybe in lower TFs, but in 1h nop.

i have been testing the method during some weeks ago and it works fine

tnavi - if you look at any of the TMA threads you'll see that it does repaint - that's why it looks like the holy grail in backtesting.

There is a TMA TRue indi which doesn't repaint but at the end of the day it's just a 56 LWMA with bands around it.

There is a lot of misunderstanding about TMA and mladen has a very good thread on Forex-TSD about it.

I'm following this thread with interest.

Tnavi, you never rest!! Allways fighting with the market. I've read the thread and it looks really interesting. It remind me a estrategy of Al Lorente "the great" (who lives pretty near of us...). But I think he doesn't play with baskets... In fact, that estrategy seems to work very well but it was too estressy because it worked only in 1 minute TF.

Anyway, I'll follow the estrategy. I use to trade only core 5 basket, do you trade the whole basket or the simplified one? Do you fixed any SL, and do you trail it?

but in higher TFs too??

how i said u, i have been testing during some weeks and it works fine with this tipe of charts.

maybe in 1m or 5m charts it can be give bad entries, but in 1h and 4h it works fine

we only need to test during more time.

Hey,
I've read the TMA thread some time ago and, as far as I know, I think both may have your part of reason. TMA repaints in any TF, that's for sure. But it's true that in higher TF is slower, so the repainting it affects less. In fact, Al Lorente allways recommend to beginners trade TMA in higher TF because it is most reliable and easy to follow. I think it colud work for this estrategy. Let's see how works. I'll test in demo.

i found a method that works in 15 min chart with a simple ichimoku indi and trendlines, but it need a lot of time to works fine.

now, i dont have this time because with the family and job, i only have a little hours in day to follow the market prices.

but life changed and my method too.

then i tried with another 15 min method.

with a simple CCI 174 config.

its dont work fine and it killed my micro real account in a few weeks.

but, ok!

then i understood that i need higher TF to won to the market.

i need to tried with this simple indis because i think that are good.

the channel was formed some days ago, but i was waitting that RSIOMA crosses the 20 level.

I was just pointing out that in post 32 some of your entries don't hit the channel line - I've no doubt they did in live trading but repainted after.
