Hi Petar,

I hope this finds you well, I have been following the EURUSD on its way up and buying on strength seen by the specialists, I am a little confused because the EU4H chart looks to be either a possible upthrust as major weakness or a possible selling climax as major strength. I have attached a EU4H chart please can you comment on this if possible?

With your analysis you noted the recent high volume down move as a selling climax, which would indicate that we will see higher prices. Thank you kindly for any feedback you could share.

Hello there ,
Thanks for question.First of all EUR/USD is in bullish trend and price around 1.3630 was good technical area (FE 161.8 %, demand zone ) for further bullish continuation phase by institutional traders.We also got large selling climax and no confirmation for further downward movement (lacking of supply, volume leveling off) at 1.3630.Price tested our first upper station level at 1.3705 (previous swing low).Next possible station is level 1.3800-1.3805 but price must break level of 1.3720 on good volume background to confirm further bullish movement.

Thanks Petar and Jer for your comments, this is really helpful. I am currently reading through Master the Markets for the second time, hence my confusion about the selling climax, I have read that the selling climax is usually the start of accumulation and is found at market bottoms. On the EU4H I also see what looks to be a major sign of weakness as an Upthrust after a confirmed test for buyers shows us a No Demand. The major 4h trendline has been broken and retested. If we look at the daily chart today we can now see lack of buying and a possible test for a potential but not yet confirmed No Demand, however this is possibly also due to the lower volumes present during holiday slowdown. I am struggling to see a bullish continuation at present due to the lower lows on the EU4H.

Hello there,
You are welcome .Just one thing about VSA. VSA is just one way of analyzing volume and if you look just according to VSA you will not find stable results on longer term, you must have knowledge of different styles of reading the volume.From VSA i am using just few terms and thats all.Also, you must have knowledge about pure price action and multi Fibonacci zones.About no demand bar on your chart, Asia session is not rly. valid in terms of volume, because you will see in 90 % low volotility.

You must know to calculate volume in the legs, in the swings, also to create your way of analyzing.Few years ago i created my own successful way of reading the volume which i teach other traders in my mentorship program.In analyzing volume i use different techniques plus my own way of reading.That is why i wrote you that VSA is just one small part in professional analyzing volume.

I rly. dont know because i dont use Elliot wave in my trading.I use volume analysis, multi Fibonacci zones and pure price action.My advice about EW theory is, if you want to use EW, use it just like additiional tool, dont base trade on EW theory.

Hi Petar thanks for your reply, sorry I was confused I was looking at your charts and seeing the abcd corrective phase and thought this was EW theory but I think it is abcd corrective phase on chart. Thanks for clarification, much appreciated, I will read through the whole thread this time!
