I think the bull will try to go out as high as possible, so move driven up then the fall, but let's wait and see.

As for taper, I think Bernake probably wanted to at least to see a start of taper before he left, don't think he'd want to be remembered as the fed chair who got market permanently hooked on QE.

Looks like it triggered a lot of the buy orders below 1.37 and bears are coming in, and bulls are going out around 1.38. Break below of that long candle it will be a long way down.
