I saw that comment from Denis too. If you have the know how, you can actually connect any platform via FIX to our ECN, but alternative platforms are being tested by our tech boffins to easily allow our clients to choose from multiple platforms in the future.

Very frustrating having MT4 frozen and trade execution getting hung up many times. Now MT4 has been down for a good 10 minutes. No PA movement whatsoever after it reconnects. Everything frozen. Scalp position was open and in profit at time of crash. WOW! We'll see how this turns out.

No problems with other broker's MT4. This is not acceptable.


Edit: MT4 was down over 1 hour and change. Unacceptable. Scalp trade that was opened and was up over 20+ pips when MT4 froze was closed out for almost BE when MT4 came back online AFTER OVER an hour.

MT4 platform connection and execution with FXOpen.Au has to be the worst I have ever experienced. Besides MT4 shutting down for over an hour today, last trade executed is icing on the cake.

I was scalping and after being up 5+ pips and seeing that PA wasn't moving as anticipated, I went to close out the trade with one click trading. The execution froze up for like 20-30 seconds while PA retraced and closed the position for a slight loss plus commission. WTF? Everyday, something else. MT4 freezes, Execution most often is NOT instant. Horrible slippage. When you are scalping, forget about it. When you have SL/TP set on your long term trades and PA moves to those levels, there is ALWAYS slippage. Why the hell is there slippage on a set TP/SL level that has been placed well in advance? This does NOT happen with any other broker I'm with or been with.

I give FXOpen.Au a BS score for such disturbing funny business. You want to be legit broker and advertise yourself as a top tier company, and try to swim with the so called big boys, you need to clean this $#^% up.

Yep. What's the use of offering tight spreads when nothing works properly, and there is ALWAYS slippage that I'm NOT accustomed to.

isnt FxOpen UK ,FxOpenAus or FxOpenNz all the same? despite how they tried to be different fr each other,they still use the same platform/technology,in the end,how different r they really?

Apologies for the tech issues we had with our DEMO platform. We assign less resources to DEMO servers so we can concentrate on keeping live up and running, and sometimes that can affect their reliability.

I would like to point out that our LIVE servers were not affected and we maintain our 99% uptime as usual.

Hi FXOjafar,

I would like to ask some technical stuffs about partial fill and funds withdrawal.

Qn1
Say, I have 1 pending buystop order of 10 lots tagged to a unique order comment. If the order gets filled partially, will the comment for the filled and unfilled order be the same as the original pending buystop order?

Qn2
If I withdraw USD10k and opted wire transfer to an overseas bank account of the same currency, how much will I receive approximately when the funds reaches me?
Will FXO incurs charges, say, $X amount for every multiple of $XYZ withdrawal?

During normal business hours? Are you serious? How is one suppose to hand over hard earned money on a live account, when you guys obviously can't even get the demo server to function properly? It's like buying a car without a test drive. How many people actually do that? Anyways, I've read more reviews of live account holders on the net so I think I'm going to pass. You guys have more issues besides just the demo servers. Time to test drive a different broker.

Please stop hiding behind the excuse of your demo server excuse, "we had to concentrate and assign more resources to keep the live accounts up and running B.S". That excuse may fly with some newbie looking to open a micro account with a couple hundred dollars. C'mon bro. We're not all that naive.

you are right. Im scalper and my TP havent taken even up to 10 pips passed. I try to closed but MT4 freezed. If im not satisfied with their demo, there is no way I put my real money here.

Warning about this MKFXTrader Guy: If you read his last couple of Posts, he keeps on bashing FXOpen. Whats even worse and even more ridiculous: He seems to be talking about DEMO trading! lol how worse can it be. I mean, who gives a sh** about Demo Performance.

I have a 50K Account with FXOpen, and trade with them the whole day. Never had any issues, besides two outtages which can happen to any Broker.
Forex is a losers game.

Hey cheerleader. You ever buy a new car without test driving? How about just writing about your own experience, instead of trying to insult someone frustrated and raising a legitimate concern, that they may have. Nobody was asking for a cheerleader.

I also have a live account with FXOpen. No problems from my end.

You had trouble getting your 10 pips due to the markets being flat today. Trade when there's some volatility in the markets, and you'll hit your 10 pips without any problems.

With all thou respect MKFXTrader, when I am out test driving a new car, I am actually test driving the car I will be purchasing not a "demo" car.

FxOpen NZ has micro accounts available. Why not test drive the actual product instead? Once you are happy then open an ECN account.

There is a simple solution to everything.
Use the KISS principle.
Think positive

.............and if that doesn't work take a midol and have glass of wine or beer!

Hi Minirap

1) A partial fill will have a comment added to your existing order comment that will let you know what the original order number was that was partially filled. eg. Say your order comment was "MyEA", the partial fill comment would be something like "[tp]from #1234567 MyEA".

2) For US$ transfers we charge $30 to cover bank fees on our end. Any other fees charged by the time it gets to you are not within our power to control. We would send US$9970 on a US$10k withdrawal. You should ask your bank how much they charge to receive international funds.

I'm sorry your experience is not going well. If your MT4 demo is that unstable, I suggest fixing your computer. I actually run Demos myself on both Windows and Linux. Neither are crashing or freezing as yours is apparently doing.

My best suggestion for you is to first, fix your computer so you can run MT4 reliably, then just open an ECN Micro account with us so you can test out our live execution before committing greater funds.

With reference to your reply on Qn1 about partial fill, will both the filled and unfilled orders have the same magic number as the original pending magic number?
