Just to save possible confusion for anyone trying the Genesis candles indi, be sure you have all the necessary indies in the indi folder otherwise your terminal is likely to hang. If that happens just restart the terminal and make sure to have the required indies in the folder.

i put 3 for " fav indi" to don't miss start of movement but it's not really useful i think so i'll put 4

i'm trying to create new terminals because my computer don't support too many charts of renko,
i've copied " indicators " templates " and "profils " in the folders of new terminals but when i load my template the nasap 13 indicators don't appear on the chart
i've copied them in basic folder 
and
in the virtual ( don't really know what i'm doing so i copy everywhere ... ^^ ) 
usually it works but here nasap don't appears but it appears well in list of indicators on the plateform
(when i put them myself after have load the template or before, i've just blue and grey boxes...)
any idea ?

Some people ask Kickme how he colors the candles. Perhaps this indicator is similar. Put all in indicators folder and put Genesis_ESET_candles_2.00 on the chart. Maybe people can find good settings and post them. When you first put it on the chart some candles are yellow, i changed them to blue. {image} {file} {file} {file} {file}
Can you tell me why you changed the yellow to blue and not red. It seems that if we do that then we are making it all bullish candles and in the one screen shot are always against the trend. In the other I changed the yellow to red and it provided better results. So now the question which way to color the yellow.
Are these part of the genesis system? Then I wont move forward because those indicators repainted.Just a thought had anyone tried asking Calstar ( kickme's provider) if he could post the candles.

I tried some time ago asking Kickme and locating Calstar... nothing at all.

Hi sanfranfan, There was no particular reason for changing them to blue instead of red. I posted the chart simply for people to get a feel of how the chart looks and make comparisons to kickme's chart posts. I am not recommending any particular set up here.
I agree, making color # 6 red and #7 blue is most likely a better idea.
With regard to repainting, all i can say is i ran the indicator on my renko back test script and i didn't see it repaint. Once the candle closes it appears to stay the same color. Of course there maybe instances where it doesn't but i didn't see any.
I think some one who understands the coding could give a definitive answer.
Here is back test chart with the indi, ignore the trades, that's just my ea doing its thing and it's not set up for the chart.

It colour the candle in blue or red if it is above or below the MA. It doesn't repaint.

The yellow candles represent a flat market and mean that you should exit a trade or not trade at all. Blue and red are self explanatory. Shading the yellow to either blue or red will only skew results one way or the other. The indicator is based off 4 oscillators and the candles are an extension of all the blocks lining up in a row. Changing the setting as in the previous posts will show some great back test results (that's why I bought it) but when you apply to a fast moving market it can't keep up, will freeze your unit and worse change mid stream.
I purchased the complete updated system and it SUCKS!!!!!!
. The result is I am now back here looking for a better way to trade. They do repaint in a fast moving market which seems to be the problem with most indicators when applied to a Renko chart. For those that still want to give it a try and donate to their money to the market feel free here is the base indicator. Just an FYI Casyopia as a new member you are usually blocked form sending PM's you may want to try again they have both been responsive to me. Calstar not as quick but Kick me is still kicking and has been sending a few of us some pips

On time based charts, often they print many pips away from the candlesticks, just need them to print closer to the bars.
(This is for the offs mihailo indi which prints an arrow when the specified number of blocks are same colour.)
