ALL Symbols: Print Infos to file (e.g. Avg.Move)

I need sometimes for all pairs some info which I can easily use in other application e.g. excel
e.g. Average move on different TFs, Spread ect..


THIS is an SCRIPT for Metatrade MT4: which will help to print some info for ALL active Symbols in: View --> Market Watch
- Output format: CSV main purpose to be important into other application: e.g. excel
- Digits
- Average move for all/or selected TF
- Spreads - SpreadSnapshot: see attached: __Example_Spreads_All_Symbols__Periodically_60Sec.xls
- Spreads % of Daily Move
- periodically execute it...ect..

NOTE: Rates for all active symbols/all TF

I updated my other EA Good History Rate Downloader EA. so it can be limited to more or less only some bars and in this modues is much quicker.

e.g. Avg.Move Period 100 - download about 105 bars


How to:

If Rates not uptodate

- Enable all Symbols in View >> Market Watch
- use Good History Rate Downloader EA and limit it to about 5 bars more than the Avg.Move Period
- Download all Symbols Rates I use usually additionally also a Fake Tick generator every 100milsec
- I usually restart MT4 Terminal

- run this script: sAllSymbolsPrintInfoToFile_ATI
- most of the time I need to still download some rates: manually open the charts and maybe scroll backwards
- or remove some of the problem Symbols from Market Watch

- open the resulting CSV file in Libre Office/Excel for further study



How I import into LibreOffice 4 (OpenOffice) http://www.libreoffice.org/

1. Open the Resulting CSV file (MetaTraderFolder/experts/files/) with LibreOffice SpreadSheet
2. At the Text Import Dialogue I select
- Character set: Western Europe(ISO-8859-1)
- Language: English (UK)
- From row: 1
- Separated by: Comma
- Text delimiter: ' (single quote)
- Other options: Quoted field as text

don't know the AllMarketData but had a fast check and I have something quite different in mind.

main current need is something like my old BarInfo indy: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...18#post5543018 but I need it in a spreadsheet.

Basically to choose pairs for a strategy I'm working on based on the spread and average move

Nothing fancy but I might add some other infos as I need them

I don't understand!
Is this a request or an offer?

I was not satisfied with this: the download stuff did not work out smoothly: So I separated it completely from the script.

For faster Rate Download I added an extra option to my other EA Good History Rate Downloader EA to limit it to the needed bars.

e.g. if I use an Avg.Move of 100 I do not need more than 103 bars: with such an option the other already working Rate Download EA is quite fast and efficient.

And this script does only the real PrintTo File things.

this gives a better view of Daily average move using multiple calculations instead of only the last.


I think this small script can be definitely helpful for choosing pairs based on average move and Spread %.

Especially if one uses relatively small SL settings Spreads have a great effect on the final Win Rate % as well as the over profit/loss.

I guess that's all.
For the time being I believe it is finished.

I'm also not sure if there is not one more: today it got stuck twice when running through all possible symbols which are around 121 on my platform. after updating all rates it runs through now - but still not sure.

anyway, if I find something I will fix it and update the first post.
