hm, see my previous post, I've one simple ADX ea attached ..

i try make icustom with the indi i told you before using ea builder, but it wont trade....what kind a mistake i made?
here is the ea, can you fix it please?

If I am interested in something (or it is trivial stuff), no problem - But if I have to spent more time than (cup of coffee + 2*cigarette) than I start to think twice if I do want to spend my time with this because I'am not getting paid to help other people with their mql4-problems.

I have a problem with ordersend and i cant fix this problem.. =/
He buy one Sell and one Buy order, and then, hmmm dont know only push a error with; unknown symbol name 100 for OrderSend function
I think valuta_1 / valuta_2 is the problem / or only EURUSD/USDCHF (would all currency pairs possible // or more as just 2 orders?) , but i cant fix grrr, strange code but to nice backtest with 99,90% and he works but not 100% only 50% =(

I assume that there is no suffix-detection implemented, so the EA does not recognize if the symbol has got a suffix (like EURUSDm or EURUSD- for example).

So option1: Change the ea so that it is able to detect the suffix and append it automatically
option2: You have to input the suffix, so if the suffix e.g. is "m" you have to set the input EURUSDm and USDCHFm

hm, I had a look and fixed some things (see attached), just for fun ...

So, was it clear that the params Lots_1_2 and Lots_2_2 are the lots a trade is opened with? I just wonder, because each was set to 100
So I changed the two params to the values of the other lots-param (so 0.05 and 0.07) as default.

To prevent misunderstandings I have changed some variablenames, for example valuta_1_2 to Pair2_1, and valuta_2_2 to Pair2_2. And then it should be clear why there occured the unknown-symbol-error: "100" ist not a valid symbolname. I changed the default input to the pairs specified first (EURUSD,USDCHF).

The other inputs are selfexplanatory.

Further I added the totalstats-display as screencomment (current open trades/lots/profit) and implemented the following filter:

If backtesting and the symbol is not the current chart symbol, no ordersend-command will be send (the mt4 backtester cannot deal with other pairs than the current). That also means that backtesting this EA is useless and wasting of time. But, try it, why not, ...

And no, I do not know what the strategy is. But I am sure it is a guarantee for burning money ...


pribil_lot / pribil_lot_2 is the amount of money the trades must have gained - if the profit is greater, than the trades will be closed

Nice fxdaytrader, u are the hero! =) Very thanks, for fix this EA, and yea, he has a very high risk, max. drawdown +70%, and yea its experinental.. do not use on youre live acc, only demo for testing Or you risk your money! So, the other question is, works the ea better with a very small stoploss, and where can I change it? or just add stop loss or miss this funktion in this ea?

The alert works for the kaufmanAMA and thank you for the prompt response.

I do not know if the ea works better with stoploss. I think the ea uses a kind of hedging strategy (because standard settings for the pairs is EURUSD and USDCHF, they are mostly correlated) - if I am right then an sl does not make much sense.

On the other hand, the ea seems to close positions if they have gained a certain profit the user has choosen.

Anyway, maybe I will add the option to set tp/sl later -> ...

(killerCH - solange das nicht "accountKiller" bedeutet, als Anspielung auf den EA ... )

this version should add sl/tp.
you can limit max. open trades also, ...

Edit; I found in backtest a error? (i have only sl 1 true, TP and ATR false)

And another question with SL; I simulated with SL 1 (the same with 10/50) for test, okay, 90% of them closed with a lose of 1, and then, xx orders he dosnt closed and losed money^^ ((edit; i think the error will fail the SL closes and he fail?)

I is not an backtest error, it is the stoplevel.
If the stoplevel is for example 2 pips, you cannot set the stoploss (for buy) bid-1 pips ...

I added a fix, so if required it should auto-correct the sl/tp-distance now, pls. see attached version.
The maxopenorders-check is added before the ordersend-command also, so it should not open more orders than specified (but it is senselesse to limit for example to 1 order because it is an hedging-ea, so I think you had to limit in 4-steps, 4, 8, 12, 16, etc.)

(btw, the reason I am able to write here right now from the netherlands is that I missed the connection flight in the morning, so I got FU** and have to stay one night here in an hotel, booked a new flight to spain for tomorrow, bla and blup. I hope the hotel got my message and understand what happened - But in my mind I see me arriving there and playing sleep- and homeless in palma ).

edit: In your first post regarding this ea you have linked to another forum. If the EA is working as intended you could answer and append the ea there, maybe by linking to this thread

hi traders i am looking for sud fibo yearly indicator it is very important showing yearly high and yearly low
if you draw on eur/usd monthly chart fibonacci lines from the high of 2012 to the low of 2012 you will get lines has a great effect in 2013
the high of 2013 equal +123.6 and the low of 2013 equal 50 which is between the high and low of 2012

Please someone could fix the ordersend error in expert tab in this profitable expert? Expert working only on non-ecn brokers because order is sent with sl and tp need modification to send order without sl and tp and then modify order with sl and tp.... thanks a lot regards. Need to decompile before.... ea is already educated.
