crude ia at $97.66 now at you have the 50 and 200 day converging just above, as I don't write options but If i were too then the $105 is what I be looking at if they pay good premium, however I may long puts on USO $35 for 15c or under

price is $35.06 now

I am looking at around there for the next month.....but I wanted to wait for NFP and weekend.....I am honestly surprised these strikes are even of any consideration
if I get any more of a move up through next week.....I will look at 103-106 depending
those would be a mid Jan exp.....Usually I start looking at those around exp of front month

once you see weakness in its ability to surpass 98$ then they may be good to go

Cancelling that order as I think pipple may be right to hold of until next month

you had just enough fundamental with the inventory drop and the cold front to justify this move up.

im an idiot....I sat here and typed that I thought gold would do what it is doing and I didn't write any calls.....I hate the margin.....gonna start pricing them anyways....

I haven't got what I wanted here on UVXY either. I can tell there are ways to daytrade this thing, though, so I am watching it more closely. Can put in 5-10% or more daily swings when there are disruptive breezes blowing.

UVXY will finish > $20.50 today, might get past $22 tomorrow - 12/6 $22c are $0.20, atm finish min $0.60, could strangle $19.5p for another $0.15

yes I did but it may have been a little to far away for a single day drop of 2% in oil tomorrow so I took the closer one

I hope so....Id like to take that oil back down to where it just was and write calls all the way down. hoping for a spike tomorrow to give me reason to.

A buck is a really big move in USO, corr to ~$3 in the underlying +/-.

NFP day ranges recently: Jul $0.63, Aug $0.28, Sep $0.51, Oct $0.76, Nov $0.44

..looks like it'll close right on the $35 strike. For 12/6 you could strangle $35.50c/$34.50p for $0.03/$0.05 - net $0.08+ debit,
or $35C/$34.50P for $0.17/$0.05 net $0.22+ debit

keep a eye out on those INDEXES, a close below 1786 is better than 1787 on the S&P and i'm buying puts for tomorrows short term expiration
