Analysis: Really interesting trade, my pending buy has been triggered just prior to news in order to get liquidity for big players I guess and go down, I seriously hesitated to close this trade before the news as the breakout was weird, and we got news right after, so I believe I might close trade that I trigerred just prior to news for my next trades !!!

Is your Asia Session rom 2 till 8 or from 2 till 9???

Because i see your Low at the bar ending at 8

yes I considered only the bars from 2 till 8 pm as we got a frankfurt session "Fake-out" so I did not take into consideration

What will you do in this situation:

You have a low between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. and then between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. price goes lower and then goes higher than low from Asia Session. Will you take a short trade when price comes back to that low from Asia Session???

Just see setup below from today for USD/JPY as en example

Hello, it would certainly have not traded this session but my selling pending order certainly would have been below the 8hour candle

eventhough the high was during the off hours (prior to asian) I just felt that this higher high of few hours before would be more relevant,

Naah, but I am quite "flexible" on my range, the most important is to be trading with the range and try to avoid ranging days

Did not take the trade today as I was travelling with friends, then Ill be in Japan from tomorrow till sunday so no more trade this week

Today the 1H trend is not clear enough and we are going to have big impact news right at the opening

- French Flash Manufacturing PMI
- German Flash Manufacturing PMI

So no trade and I think no trade tomorrow neither

I have been recently looking at Oanda positioning, I can see an increase of 1% increase of short positions from yesterday which gives me a further bullish bias

BIG MISTAKKKE !! I decided to let open to trade before going to bed for some reason but I did not see that tonight was FOMC statement and fund rate decision, had I paid attention to it I would have closed my pending order... I well deserve this lost... Basically the order got trigerred and SL and eventually would have reached is initial target

-> -0.05
