I could, but I am sure you are able to do that alone

Open the indicator with the mq4-editor and search for the term alert.wav

That word must be changed, at your case to alert2.wav -> So, just insert the "2" behind the last "t", press "F5" ro recompile the indicator and you're done

I am sorry but I cannot help you.

If you changed that line:
Inserted Code
extern string SoundFile              = "alert.wav";

to
Inserted Code
extern string SoundFile              = "alert2.wav";

If you made sure the .wav-files are located in mt4-dir/Sounds/ and it does play the same sound as with alert.wav, then I assume that alert.wav and alert2.wav identical files/files with the same sound are (you can check this by playing them with windows mediaplayer, vlc-player or whatever.

To check, I made the changes and attached it (s. below). Copy both, the mq4 and the ex4, file into your mt4/experts/indicators/directory and check again

Seems impossible to find an OTO ea to mt4. Anybody know where to find one? Or anybody that can make one?

if you mean "OCO" (one cancels the other), try the forumsearch, or maybe http://www.google.de/#q=oco+%2B+mq4

What is your experience with that (by strictly (!) following the rules)?

In what timeframe to your trade that system / which timeframe is recommended?

Good things: some MAs, TF H1
Bad things: all the RSI "special rules" are a dead giveaway that the author of this book is NOT making Millions with this strategy, but is making money trying to sell books.

Hello guys. I would like to develop my own use (myself and group of friends) a trade cloner for copying trades among us.
I spoke with a developer who helped to understand how a good trade cloner should work.

There are 3 components and 2 logical layers involved:

Layer 1 (master trader: source of signals)

Layer 2 (Web server which executes PHP scripts to write on a Mysql Db)

Layer 1 (Slave EA which checks through another PHP script any change in the DB and updates its open trades).

About PHP I am ok, but I am never thought to work with Mql4 to call external files over internet.

Can anybody give me any indication ?

1.) EA (runs on your computer) is generating the signals.
2.) EA writes signals to your local mysql, mql4+msql, google: http://www.google.de/#q=mysql+%2B+mql4
3.) client got another ea which interacts with your website/mysql (google may help) and executes the trades

other option:
use any of the available free trade copiers (google it: mt4i trade copier) and run them on an vps or sign up to any signalservice to promote your signals there. your friends may follow you at that place.

find a simple testverstion attached. Try it and tell me if it is what you need. Bugs are for free

You also need to have the attached indicator in your mt4/experts/indicators/-folder ...

edit: attached one template also (belongs to mt4/templates/, there you may want to check if the ea gives correct signals (ea is actually not attached to the template) ...

Since I do not know the name of the system, I called it "MARLH" for "MovingAverageRsiLowHigh"-system
It also seems that it only makes sense in timeframes > M30, better H1,H4 ...

edit: added the opportunity to disable setting of the initial TP (makes sense if using trailing-stuff)

edit: shoudl work now without the atr-stopindicator.

Hello Fxdaytrader.

Do I have to develop a master EA which is capable to access the database remotely or I need only to call a PHP script.
The same question is to be asked for the slave EA. Do I have to call a PHP script which will get the list of trades for that specific master or I need to execute that work implementing those functions in MQL4.
