NFP next week, taper fear coming back, year end sell off, sure, sounds perfectly plausible...

I don't think alpari does options, even if they did, why them? almost non existent customer service. you can do better than them, especially for futures/forex

and no, you shouldn't just blindly follow someones advice. do I even have to tell you this?

watching gold and thinking about a long Feb strangle, say $130c/$107p - $0.87/$1.07 - $1.95 net debit. About a $8 move either way would break me even in December. I'd be selling puts & calls against the long numbers in Dec and Jan. If I bought here at around gold=$1,240, ideally I would ride the puts back down to gold<$1,150 (GLD<$115) and look for a good profit on them, then gold would bounce into the New Year, toward $1,300 or better.

Good morning. Do you recall last year, around this time the rally the markets had? It appeared that Santa was coming to town spreading love to all those wagering against the USD. It of course doesnŽt suggest it will occur again, yet a sell off isnŽt always certain at the year end. Would you agree?

It will be interesting to see how high they take the futures market today and then to if it continues when the stock market opens tomorrow. Do they gap or bring it back down before tomorrows opening

I would imagine a lot of those traders aren't as familiar.....sometimes people hear things and like to sound cool repeating it

honestly buddy your US faction left bad tastes in a lot of clients and IBs mouths.....I understand you might be a different company over in England, but for here, you guys really screwed the pooch, even when you were open
when I typed that response, I actually forgot you guys went out of business here.....we were an IB for you, and you caused us a bit of a headache.
I lost clients from the PFG fiasco as well.....so forgive me if I hate FCMs for me it is a logistic necessity.
this isn't the place for this conversation, so I wont be responding to you any more

December rally would be more expected. I was thinking we could get some jitters around next week's NFP, the Fed, the taper, comet ISON, something. Or probably the RUT will just go up forever. Fuck trading, I should just invent a new kind of cheese straightener, take the company public, and sell a billion shares at $40, then Mila Kunis-Fool and I will retire to Tahiti after I buy it...
