Hi hmaoui , i can admit that i am trading this system for one year on more high TF (1H) so i can live more and trade less. it is about two months trying to automate it but no with big success because i don't have knowledge about mql and programming. I have already ready one but i think it needs some tweaks from someone more experienced. I won't post it here without your permission for further optimization. Please advice.

I made some pipsAU sell on M5 pullback: {image} Then i swiched to M1 and try to open a second trade, but the price hit my SL so overall 6 pips {image} my SL was too thin.
i tryed a 5 pip SL to and then a 8 pip. it look like it is to tight for AU pair...
...but i tryed again and this time

If You open 0.02 lot for example, You can close 0.01 first (manually), and later the second half.
In MT4, click the New Order (maybe, my is hungarian, don't now, what is it in english version) and there You can close partialli Your order.

I took a trade yesterday on EU, resulted in a loss. My question is (is this a good trade? based on the ruls)?
My thinking was like this: day trend up, 4h up, 1h up, 15m up and i look at 5m for a retracement and 1m for entry.
Pls. comment on my trade and thinking.
pics are like this: 4h,1h,15m,5m,1m entry is at vertical line

Hi Im interesting of your system, I looking back this days to see the system and Im impressed.
Now Im using other system to trade, but I love to learn new things and if I could ask you a 2 questions that I havn't met the answers in the thread about your strategy will be perfect
First, if you trade on 5min. TF, from which longer time frame you get the direction of the trend 15m.- 30min.?
And the second, what is your criteria for spotting the trend direction on the larger time frame?

Hi Dimkata, hmaoui wrote (jan 13), maybe this will help: You ook on a higher TF to check the higher TF trend and then you trade on a smaller TF and you enter on a pullback on this TF. For example, if you want to trade the 5mn TF, you check the 30 or 15mn TF trend, and check for a pullback on the 5mn, not on the 1mn. Using 1 min is ok only if the market is strongly bullish and that you dont have PB on 5mn
sory, for reposting the question.For the second question can you answer me, what is the criteria for spotting the tredn direction on the larger time frame for you? I mean, every system has own method to spot the direction of the trend, some people use lower high, and lower low... etc. Other use Ma's, what you thing, is it enought here to use DMI to comfirm the direction of trend from larger TF? (Just somethimes people needs to avoid the subjectivism if you understand me)

Your welcome, i just now looked again the posts in January.
I use some tools to identify higher TF directions: DMI and the MAs, and levels, but i'm not a well experienced trader.
For example for me on AU not clear trend at the moment, previously down tend (separated ST-LT MAs, DMI ok)
