Absolutely not. It seems that you didn't understood the deal.

Even with 2 losses at the beginning, you can achieve the sequence successfully.

ok.. not quite wiped but far back to start again and again.. there is got to be some run or 80% win rate.. and such win rate is achievable when runs happens.. that's my main point.

bottomline is if anyone does not have the confident that he/she can win at times 5 in a row should not even think about such MM.

Whats here to understand ? 2 losses from a start, and ur down to ~12.5$, not totally wiped. Same goes for example 3 losses 6 winners example , how can ppl think they can trade then they dont get very basics of math ?

I don't get it. How can you be at +3 net wins and be wiped? Your series is WWWWLWWLL. Normally after the last loss you should be in the same state you were after your 1st loss or after your 3rd win (i.e. at the WWWWL point or at the WWW point). You must have done something wrong there.

Or maybe you were margin called? Leverage might become an issue, probably more so after a series of net wins as your stakes get bigger.

mathematically your not wiped.. mentally you defiantly are..

you can lose 5 in a row and you still won't be wiped

a record of 6-3 will give you a win percentage that will top the best trader on wall street. I dont know how that can be mentally wiped? I would be celebrating....

6-3 is just a 66% win rate ... If you think that only the top best traders on wall street can achieve this, you are wrong

The sequence you noted if it was applied to a 100:1 type of account would

of left you with $400 bucks after hitting a high of $1,600...so something

with the math is definitely off .. not to mention the higher the leverage

the less pips needed...


T1 -Balance $100 - Risk $50 - Take Profit $100
T2 -Balance $200 - Risk $100 - Take Profit $200
T3 -Balance $400 - Risk $200 - Take Profit $400
T4 -Balance $800 - Risk $400 - Take Profit $800
T5 -Balance $1600 - Risk $800 - Take Profit $1600
T6 -Balance $3200 - Risk $1600 - Take Profit $3200

The key of this is to get more runs of winners than losers for instance

2 wins in a row then a loss would take you only a number tries to complete the sequence

to reach the goal:$200 + $400 - $200 = $400 etc....

If it was me I'd get to $1000 then start again, then again if I win restart at $5000, then $10 000 and so on. Not only would I be making a profit but as the trades got bigger I would be learning discipline of the leverage so that when the large $$ came into play I wouldn't have made just a handful of these trades but would be used to the system. If I had already withdrew $20-30k+ before the 50k mark the stresses of making a trade like this would be calmer and I could trade with more confidence. I do plan to do this system but until I refine my style for the 2:1 RR no point (working on it). I will do this in my head 1st before throwing money at it.

Yes this has been told and told again since about 60 pages ... without a solid trading method with a high win rate at 1:2 risk/reward, this MM mustn't be used.

ok.. some of you are so fixated on the math, which is ok and most of you are correct.. as long as you risk 50% of whatever is left you will never be wiped till you get to minimum of nano acc trading allows. and I guess to some people going from 4000% to 800% is not draining, just putting it in nutshell.. you are correct once again and you are not wiped. wrong choice of words on me.

anyways..

long on GBP/CAD for the second trade at 0.70 lot size

i am also long on eur/cad and gbp/usd.. so out of the three possible setup I have chosen the Gcad for the R2R challenge account, lets see if it pays off better.

by the way i monitor 24 pairs in my trading.. and it's still hard to get enough signals fulfillment overall speaking much as less to get a good one.. however it's acceptable due to end of the year as it tends to dry up.

trade is up +30.. I'll set the stop set at BE, risk free is the call with the news on GBP coming out at end of the hour.
If i get close to the 50 mark before it I may not risk it and bank. will see

The % is looking good. I noticed you have a GBP positon open on your trade explorer, there are inflation report hearings in 25 minutes for GBP so it could get a little crazy for pound pairs.

as i mentiond in my pervious post, I am aware of the news and it will be a tough decision when it comes close to it. i have made it a risk free one but i hate to lose the winnings on the table at the same time also hate to settle for anything less than 50 tp.. for sure i am in a tough spot.. its a gamble to leave it to reach the target or extra gains.

decision is made easier for me since the profit droped down to only 20pips.. i can't settle for such low tp so I let it be, hopefully it goes in my favor after the release. i would have banked if it was around 40.

a lot can happen.. whiplash to take me out only to go up.. lol.. with such close stop thats what most likely will happen.
