Didn't you post some more fx_fish indicators? I don't seem to see them anywhere on this thread. To make sure I posted the other one right, I am doing it again

The more I look at this fx_fish, the more I think I could get used to it. When it makes its first move, wait on it. when it "retraces" and starts to mak it's second move, that might be the key to this indicator.

Great job on the list of indicators. I am just wondering how many of the forum members use a majority of these indicators

Can someone tell me what the indicator is called that when you put it on a chart, it will put fib lines on for you. The lines are yellow. Not sure how else to describe it. I deleted quite a few that didn't interest me and I must have deleted that one too.

Am I missing the point here, but why do we need 500 to 1000 indicators

Surely time spent looking at them all, is better spent mastering a few.

No one has found a "holy grail" indicator and lets face it, do we believe any one ever will, so are we all becoming addicted to this indicator or that indicator.

They all look pretty dont they, and testing and back testing and forward testing and changing all the colours and making all your charts look good is what being a trader is all about isnt it?

Stick to the few that appeal to you, that you can get a fair understanding and get practasing with them and if you cant get your money management or psychology right with those then what is changing the colour or dimension going to do.

This is nice for me due to the simple fact that I can put an indicator on the charts and kinda see what it is for and if I don't like it, I delete it and go on to the next. I find a couple indicators and put them together and who knows, maybe it will be the set of 2 or 3 indicators that will be how I want to trade. And then after that, I will change the color to look pretty. This list is nice for me because I know nothing about programming and to get all these to possibly benefit me in one way or another. What is wrong with that? I bet the very first time you had your charts up, it wasn't black and white and if it was, I bet you changed the colors a bit. I don't think the holy grail has been mentioned once in this thread. Getting out hands on all these differant indicators is no differant than opening up a chart and putting a MA on it then ADX and then RSI and MACD and seeing what fits your personal way you want to trade. Also, this thread isn't about money management and psychology, there are other threads for that. This thread is for people like me that knows nothing about programming to have the chance to get my hands on some of these custom indicators that others have programmed and for me to experiment with.

sorry for unclear question...pardon for my poor english (im malaysian)...teach me how to use the clock...i mean step by step...i've copy the file to matatrader indicator folder but nothing appear on my chart...so whats my problem ?

You want detailed information on all of the 600 indicators? ....
You can quit and they won't care, but you will always know.

For me, it is like any other indicator, I went to the indicator list, clicked on it, and it was on my screen.

I'm sorry dude, I have tested live with Fx_fish and its clone..and it does re-paint the old bars making it useless. Just delete it. Fisher series is also a clone, you will find it in the indicator folder its there all fish series.

Meanwhile i have gottton laid of some very good indicators, I will post it shortly in the first post with a new indicator folder so that, we won't have to search between the new and the old ones.

Its very easy. Just drag alphabatically indicators to MT4, It would be some 15 to 20 at once and keep checking it. The whole practice will be over in couple of hours time. It looks daunting but it isn't and then combine the best indicators and make a template for easy access. thats all.

Just "drag" the clock indicator from the MT4 to the chart, a window will pop up, just click ok and the clock will appear.on the chart.

I wrote the clock indicator so I know how it works (I think .

First make sure it's in your indicator folder. Then start metatrader and it should appear in your indicators list. Now drag it to a chart and the clocks will show in one of the corners.

For the paramters, set BrokerTZ to the timezone your broker uses, usually 0, 1, 2 or 3. For LocalTZ, set it to your local TZ. If your in Malaysia I think this is 8. Set DST to true if it's daylight savings time. Set ShowLocal to true if you want your local time to show up, Set corner to 0, 1, 2 or 3 to set one of the 4 corners of the chart the clock shows up in. Finally set topOff to the offset into the chart.

If you need help on the timezones, try the site http://www.worldtimezone.com/ for help. It has a nice live map that shows you all the timezones

Do you mean the fib expansion lines, where you hit 3 points on consecutive waves and it plots targets?
I've had a hunt through my files but I suspect it's a built in function so not sure how you deleted it.
Just in case go to toolbar then ' Insert' 'Fibonacci' 'Expansion'
If this is not the one you're thinking of I apologise.

Most of these indicators are not not working, I did put them in the right place. I really wanted to test the jurik indicators. does anyone have a clue as to y they are not working.

Pete, I have taken a few days off so that is why I havent replied yet. I found the indicator I was looking for. I am not at my PC now, I am at work so I am not sure exactly what the indicator is called but, it is a custon indicator. Thank you for your reply.
