thanks a lot for your sharing that is what I, a newbie, dream for.

however, i do have some questions. do you have a rough estimate on:

your win%, return/risk average, and trading frequency?

the reason is that I think there's an edge apparently. but i'm not sure how large is the edge and how frequently we can apply the edge (trading frequency).

Hey good job on the background check Kinda creepy that you can find out that much about an individual through a search. Yes I did have a website up in 2011 ....I also had another website that had 40 pages of mt4 statements as well. Im not sure how to easily access that...i could have posted those on here for all my friends who doubt me LOL. Yes I did buy an EA...it was a scalping ea for EURAUD...I was actually able to make about 50% on my account using it in a very short period of time and then I noticed the market conditions began to change so I disabled it and took my money. Im so glad too because after that the market did in fact change and those who used it went broke LOL. The thread is actually on donna forex. He has since deleted the myfxbook account and started over when i last checked about a year ago because it flopped. It did teach me a valuable lesson and Im glad u brought it up so that i can share it with those reading...EA's can work, for a TIME. However, they are created for certain market conditions and when those conditions change you are in big trouble! I have yet to see an EA that works in the long run therefore I wont use them anymore. I used that one because it looked so good and figured well i can set aside a few thousand to risk and if it works I will make some extra money with no added effort. Again, I would caution using them unless you are VERY familiar with the market and can assess when a market is changing and u must know exactly how the ea works in order to determine when to call it quits. Thats my take on it. Im by no means a real technical savvy person but thats just what ive noticed. yes, you are correct i did do a few videos where i did show that account...surprised u found that ...was meant for my trading friends . Yes I did do that on demo and I still trade on demo because I also do long term swings on my other accounts as well and I like to easily track the swings seperately and placing the same trades on a demo makes that very easy. i was actually thinking about uploading that to here to shut some people up but decided not to because then critics would say well why dont u post your live account? And that would start another war. LOL But anyways, I have been trading full time since March 2010. I think i mentioned that in my first post...dont remember. Been trading since 2005. I've been using this system/something similar and/or the principles for many years. I did add thv after i saw thv on the forum for added confirmation on the entries however. Hope this answers your questions.

Hello doriotcapita,

The stuff you are describing is pretty much the same as Sam Seiden (don't know if you heard about him).
But there is one main difference, you are saying that whatever how the support/resistance is, if the price is moving really fast/strong then you should not get in.
I don't remember him telling so.

And when i tested his stuff, i decided to completly ignore Sam Seiden theory because i often found that supposedly strong support/resistance were worthless and price would often went though really easy....
In my experience and as i remember, it was happening with these fast/strong price moves

You also insist on the first retest being a lot better, or am i wrong?
I will try it some in demo again

And yes I was on Zulutrade actively trading and selling signals for 7 months....3,921 pips are recorded there for that time period. It was trading based off the 4 hour (swing trades) and the reward to risk was higher so the win rate is not as high, although still very profitable. I was also on another signal selling site...the one I assume you are referring to...called rent a signal and I was #1 for best signal providers...the site was shut down but you may have come across my website which is still up. I included a screenshot of the photo from the results page. I was running a few different strategies on there, all very profitable.

yes you are very correct...as far as sam...never heard of the guy...i threw in the momentum of price and first test because i noticed that...thats something no one has ever taught me. Good luck! i know it will work for u if you work it!

Great questions! My reward MUST ALWAYS BE AT LEAST EQUAL TO MY RISK or the trade is a no go. Some of my trades have been 3 to 1 and higher. As far as frequency...i usually get in a trade or two a day...but i only trade a couple hours a day. My win % is about 75-80% on average. I will say this, i know you are a noob and are tempted to trade alot but i found when i stopped trading as much and started taking only the BEST set ups my win rate went up and so did the profits. Quality over quantity friend.

Thanks for the clarifactions. You made your points great you are beeing quite transparent

As you said you don't want to disclose your live account, what i totally understand, but just out of curiosity, because between the lines you are telling that you are trading very large account + big sizes and now trading considerable small percentage of your stake.

1. How did u build up to that account, savings or built up by trading? If so, how long did it take to build it up to going fulltime?

2. What are your reasons to use Heiken Ashi candles instead of the classic candles?

I really liked your analogies in your explanations. I have never thought about the fact that if a price is moving fast to an Resistance, that there is a higher chance that it will break. But it totally makes sense.

Oh my I didn't take that trade at all, you mentioned the set-up today and I threw my template on it to check and analyse it, soon i should have multiple monitors so i can monitor and trade more pairs.

I did see the Resistance on H4, I think I'm getting the hang of this.

My summary so far.

From Higher time frames, look for
!, Bounce-off Major Support&Resistance:
2, Pull-back into New or Existing trend:
3, Divergence to continue new or existing trend.
Then;
Scale down to Lower time frame to get your entry signal.

The HA candles are good for spotting the "Brick Walls"

Come on Dc "FEED ME MORE" like Ryback would chant. lol
Let it turn and find your entry.

Need help installing metaeditor files onto my mt4 charts. Have not done it before. Anyone have an order of how to get it file(s) installed.

1. Go to your computer local disk
2. click on program files x86
3. look for your mt4 folder
4. click on the experts folder
5. click on the indicators folder
6.Then just paste the indicators in the folder.
7.For the template after opening the experts folder look for your template folder and paste it there.

*Then restart mt4 if you have it open.

ex4 files will go in your experts/indicators folder.

tpl files will go into your templates folder after you double click on your broker folder. then restart your mt4.

honestly if you have never done this, I would demo for a bit before going live so you know what your getting into.

a simple google search will give you more details.

if it asks for adm. clearance, you might need to save them in your Desktop temporarily, and insert them from there...(thanks to th overcomplicated "Administration rights stupidity" from Windows)
