Hi Denny n Co,
Could you recommend some proper regulated brokers where spreads are not widening during news releases??
As I understand many scalpers focus on trading news as I am one of them also.
Much appreciated.

All the above spreads are virtual spreads, you don't know where the broker will fill your trade

With this one you are sure because they are a regulated exchange www.lmax.com/exchange go to "Examine our historical spreads"

I am using Armada Markets. So far I am happy with their service. They introduced a spread cap after traders (I included) sent a complaint to them.

Armada is OK too, they work together with lmax,

I was just wondering if you can provide an analysis of WhichWayFX. It's a relatively new Australian broker ASIC regulated with the Financial Claims Scheme and privatized bank accounts with BankWest offered to Australian residence. I know it sounds like I'm advertising them, but I'm not, just curious as I have seen them listed on FxIntelligence and it's showing some pretty amazing spreads. Spread wise, I have to go with ICMarkets, but it looks like WhichWayFX may be giving them a run for their money.

If you take a look at the screenshot, WhichWayFX did post a higher spread at one point while ICMarkets posted at another. However, majority of the time, they are pretty much the same.

Of course, this is just a quick look and I'm not factoring commissions and the spreads of all major and minor pairs in.

I did it once. Open account there just to try. Withdraw with small profit without any problems. Even it was against their rules they pay me different method. I used LR tp deposit and skrill to withdraw.

- Big difference between Demo and Live, no slippage on demo, a lot of slippage on Live. 20% of my account lost due to slippage.
- Mediocre Customer Service
- 10 days to withdraw funds and 55 USD fee!, (They denied me Moneybrokers withdrawal, in spite of they offer it on their withdrawal form)
- The only good thing: low spreads, but, is it important if you get a lot of slippage on the entries?

IC markets

if you read their withdrawal page, they clearly state the various withdrawal methods available for the various payment processor deposits. Also, 55 USD fee is just a bank wire fee, not surprising that it's that much.

Iam currently testing for scalping and not recommending anything!
Iam not an IB or marketer or someting like this
Just testing the Brokers for myself!

Armada Markets
FxOpen
IC Markets

FxOpen has the tighest spreads of all three... and a pretty low comission.
IC Markets and Armada are pretty much the same in spreads, comissions are a bit better at Armada I think...

Iam trading with Armada for the last 3 years now and Iam quiet happy with them.

Testing FxOpen from time to time and the spreads are by far the best out there! The only thing why I did not open an account with them is, they want to have a min. deposit of $€1000 for the ECN acc. and thats a bit to much for me!

Think I will add IC Markets besides my current Armada acc. because there you can open the ECN acc with $€250. For me that is enough to test the live account

Hope this helps
