Need book recommendations for Macro analysis

Do you guys know what caused the top on D1 in Eur/Usd?

The top formed this past week is mainly due to a shift in ECB's monetary policy expectation from market participants. The release of a worst than expected CPI number along with an increase of european unemployment rate was enough for leveraged and real money accounts to par back their long euro bets built since this summer, on the back of a european recovery.

Earlier in the week, price was capped by some rumored Asian Central Bank offers protecting 1.3850 option barrier. A more hawkish FOMC statement than was expected made this defense successful.
