About 3 or 4 years ago, I had a winning streak of 15 trades one month.
The next month, I had a losing streak of 13.
Almost seemed like the market was taking revenge for the great previous month.
Those were all R:R 1:1 and either hit TP or SL, no interference.

Back in 2010, 5 consecutive losing months.
Beginning of 2013, Jan and Feb months of losses.

I've had losing streaks in the 10's....but let me say also that a good chunk of these would have been winners if profit had been taken at 1x risk. I just like to hold for runners as these account for the majority of my profit. Lots of losers, few winners.

lol. I can't remember if I'm honest, probably a 10 streak of losers? who cares, if your trading technically over a short term you will hit many series of losers, that's a given. Mentally you learn to deal with this, it's not big news, get over it and move on.

Gambling has no edge for the gambler; in fact the expectancy is negative in any casino. In trading you can have an edge but finding it takes a long time. If you don't think finding that edge is possible, then quit now because you're wasting time and money.

Why do casinos routinely ban Gamblers that they suspect of being adept at card counting?

You're wrong on two fronts here.

1) not all casino games have a house edge if played correctly.

2) (and the main point). not all gambling takes place in a casino.

There is no difference, it's a misconception predicated on ignorant public perception. You are in the business of RISK my friend, anyone who uses risk whether it's a new business owner, horse racing speculator or trader in the pits, is a gambler making decisions based calculated risk trying to anticipate future reward.
