Watching this pair, the NZD/USD. HOWEVER.... I would wait until we got a daily close above the 0.85 level as it is just above the current area, and a break out above the recent high doesn't clear it. A daily close above it has me interested...

I am looking at the EUR/USD pair as well. It looks like the pair is going to pull back based upon the shooting star on Friday. I am going long, but now I need to see if we break the top of the shooting star - negating the resistance - or if we pull back to the yellow area on the chart, as the 1.35 level looks so interesting for support.

Indeed, I'm also looking at the stock indices that are making new highs, it's expensive buying right now. I'd rather see a pullback to get in. Btw, lots of news events next week with the NFP delayed numbers coming in as well as some other reports delayed by the federal shutdown.

Yeah, but to be honest.....I just don't see the NFP numbers being that strong. I think the idea of a shallow pullback in the EUR/USD and a bounce based upon the numbers makes complete sense. However - that's exactly why this pair will probably melt down!

As for this week, it's another Non-Farm Payroll week, so I would only expect a few decent days. I also think we continue to see USD weakness overall, with a special emphasis on the EUR going higher over time. In fact, I believe the EUR/USD is heading to 1.40 in the next few weeks......maybe months, but certainly it is a buy on pullbacks.

No NFP this week. Due to the shutdown it'll be out next week, the 8th.

There is still plenty of Data though: PPI, Retail Sales, Home Prices, CPI, FOMC Meeting, Jobless Claims, Chicago PMI, and then ISM

Yeah, that caught me off guard as well. However, I think its pretty obvious that the US just isn't going to be able to produce enough jobs for the Federal Reserve to taper off of QE - not that they want to - and as a result we will see the EUR/USD go higher. I see absolutely nothing preventing it from going to 1.40 at this point......

EURUSD is right at support as well, could also turn into a long trade, but EJ does look like the better trade

If 3250 holds and confirms I might play long too..its certainly at a place where you would expect some upside flow,There's enough room before
the 35 handle..

The Yen pairs didnt get to bashed in last weeks excitement either..
