Hi,
I think I would like to make a market hours Android Widget, but don't know how, from where to take the data.
The Widget is an part of an app which has changeable icon, image at your mobile desktop. Like when you see the "Jan 1" text changing to "Jan 2" icon for Calendar application, for example.
So, based on what Timezone has the user settings I would like to have an image similar to this. I know I can't have the Liquidity, because that is FF's data.
I can't use this either it would be to much communication overhead to take it from http://www.forexfactory.com/market.php source code.
There are something here: http://www.forexmarkethours.com/
Forex trading hours, Forex trading time:
New York opens at 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST (EDT)
Tokyo opens at 7:00 pm to 4:00 am EST (EDT)
Sydney opens at 5:00 pm to 2:00 am EST (EDT)
London opens at 3:00 am to 12:00 noon EST (EDT)
One problem is: those EDT sometimes has daylight saving somethimes no
The user maybe live in a country where isn't used at all the daylight difference.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time
I am living i a country, where is used, but the switching it at another date when US has.
