Hi Irish37. I use a Dell XPS Core i7, 6GB memory, it suits me very well. I also have a second monitor to help viewing the charts but I think the most important is to have a good internet connection so when accessing your VPS there will be no delays.

Hi drbalajidnb, the ideal internet speed would be something around 2Mb, dedicated connection(not using phone line) but I know, at least in Australia where I am, this type would cost me some good money and is not available everywhere.
So depending where you are a 1Mb using a low noise phone line would be a good and reliable connection.
maybe take a slightly larger display than usual. So you have to see more Chart-area!. The performance is usually perfectly adequate to trade when you take a normal new laptop. Only if you run thousands of indicators (or parallel backtests / eas) instead of normal charts, then you should adapt to the performance.
