Years ago, i found James16 thread and i cut all my crappy indicators from my charts.

That was my first positive step in the right direction, i spent 1000's of hours practicing and plotting s and r , looking at outside bars and inside bars.
Trading is a huge journey to take, that many fall by the wayside.....why ?, Because some people just arent "wired" for it.

after a couple of years of being mediocre at trading, i started to show frustration, some of the s and r zones where falling short from where they were expected to hit..............bizarre i thought!

I knew i was so close, but the understanding of the market still evaded me. A friend and myself were trying to fit the last bits of the puzzle, it seems like it is never going to happen.

A couple of things bugged me and i knew i needed to get more of an understanding of the market. What makes it tick ?

Now James is a lovely guy and i have picked up good knowledge regarding PA, But all the information i have seen from him was after the fact.

It is a rare thing to see anyone with such depth of market knowledge show you BEFORE the fact. Well, that bugged me!!

It doesnt take a genius to pull up a historic chart and say "that reacted to this and this reacted to that".

I left James16 group behind, feeling like i had part of the story.

Time passed by and trendlines and PA were still in use, but returns were mediocre still. I could not work out why some trades failed and i just didnt accept an answer "well some do"

There is a reason for everything.

It was not till i stumbled on an annoying northern guy taking the pee out of guys on the Eur/Usd thread. Well if you follow some of their trades it is a bit like "pin the tail on the donkey"

I followed this guy for a while, he would just nip in and out. Challenge them all to trading against him, then go again.

I found his profile and tracked his thread down, i must of read that thing frontwards backwards and all sorts (and i still do to this day, have a flick through some gems of his)

The missing puzzle was starting to make sense.......Logic......logical sense. You can spill me all your salesman stuff or guru crap. But i want logical, that is how i base most of my decisions.

Anything that is bought or sold is governed by the laws of supply and demand, the more i looked into this the more it made sense. Incorporate the laws of supply and demand into your trading.

Hey, it was no overnight success, but i could really see sense of what this guy was saying. And, he would post charts before, during and after the fact
This was pretty much unheard of and of course i wanted to know more.

The guy was not short of posting more charts than you could shake a stick at, 10's of 1000's of charts. More charts less chat, he would say.

He would trade multiple instruments and any timeframe, he said it made no difference! And it didnt.......................

That was 3 years ago now and all i can say is the puzzle is now complete.

I understand why the market moves, when it does why it does.

I understand that price , knows where it wants to go ahead of time (this was the game changer for me)


I understand that price is moved to areas of interest before news or session open times

I understand that on low timeframes there is not NOISE, every swing and engulf is setting up a move on a bigger tf.

I can see the traps that the pro's make, that tricks you but lets them load up a second time

I understand that some pairs or commodities are a lead indicator for other pairs. The markets are interconnected and you can see money moving from one instrument to another eg:risk on /risk off

This guy was a PRO and he would bleed the market from open on Sunday to close on Friday.



So for all you guys looking at this, James16 group helped me on the right path. But it was only ever part of the story.

It's always easy to demonstrate anything.

Just making an statistical review.

On the other side, the public forum just highlights (at least on the first 50 pages) the basics of PA strategy. As an starting point it could be useful, but there is more knowledge required to successfully trade price action. I think the PF was meant for that and it accomplishes its purpose by putting together all the pieces of the puzzle and adding precise indications.

Saying PA strategy is a scam is just like saying technical analysis does not work. In my opinion PA is a deep view in technical analysis and other related trading areas.

I would never share for free something really, really profitable. It would be a lack of respect for those who devoted years of his life and efforts to produce something that is meaningful. And no one should have access to something valuable without work and effort in my opinion. Look at mosquitoes, who love them?

Again, it would be quite easy for someone willing to test that system just paper trade it using historical data. I don't understand all this controversy.
hi all
i was a member for 1 year in the privet frum i can say that after 1 year trading pa (and i know the metiriel)i was still a loosing trader
see the risk in pa can still be big and as a trader accepting a loos was my hardest lesen to lern
any way for the last year i trade touch trade with base by james and making 10% on my account every month
now i run a fund of 3.5m dollars and its getting bigger every day
i know james never herd of me but if not for his meterial i dont think i would ever find a way in this market

i read most of the thread, not all, I AGREE WITH EVERY SINGLE THING THAT YOU SAID, at school before a teacher teaches you they need to have a degree PROOF THAT THEY ARE QUALIFIED TO TEACH, James16 is a teacher, he owns a company that relies on the public to keep it going, he is relying on us as potential clients to keep his business going and he cant even produce a track record that his method actualy works, this is so sad, i read James reply and i am very very very disapointed and cant believe that people actualy are dumb enough to actualy buy into this noinsense, he could link his acc to myfxbook and show the % and not the balance, but he chooses not to, why?????????

James16 is a SCAMMER, I carefuly read his response and judging from his response i have co0ncluded, he is not a trader, he has blown a few live aCOUNTS and he concluded that its better to teach, that was he makes more money.. soo many suckers out there, James16 deep down you know that you have scammed and fooled soooooo many people, deel down you know what you have done, YOU REMIND ME OF BERNIE MADOFF, you will never get caught but 1day you will be sick of all this and admit that it was all fake, you came in the market at the right time and you seem like a superb entrepreneur, congrats on your success of your business.

Im not hating, i read between the lines and concluded.

I am a member of j16 been for a long time. I dont pay anything now i havent for years and I have his support when i need it along with other mentors and everything i know from trading comes from the grp basically 90% of it, is the source..quite simply without the help of the group i would have given up..long time

instead i have a fighting chance of survival..does this sound like a scammer??

I totally agree with you. I am a member for 5 years now and what I learned from the group is priceless.
I don't understand why people blame him.

If there is people out there who couldn't find a success in this bussines just give a try, I strongly recommend to join.But of course this is a tough bussines and it doesn't mean that everybody will trade profitable WHO joins the group.Because it's not all about understanding the market what it is doing and why it is doing.At the end it is up to you.But with this group you have chance, a BIG chance.

I wont say traders but people do not realise..U can be great at giving signals but to trade and make money is dependant on how u think..this is a factor which is a complete variable..Jim and Mike have the experience to teach and are very good at it..There charting and teaching in itself is enough for any1 to realise they can trade.
If u want to learn to trade u have to start somewhere and realise the market will eat your money if u try and take shortcuts, its this simplr. I paid to learn because one way or other theres a price for education..j16 is education..this is how u have to view it..

u learn an edge but its the pyscology u have, which will determine whether or not u make it..
so asking question like can he trade or she..is pretty pointless..the bottom line is..they provide support to help u have a fighting chance..
They are going to make u successful but provide structure and full support..the rest is up too u ..

o yeah.. you are soo right there, mate.. you "nailed"

you can be academic or saloon trader, calling shots or even appearing on media's [CNBC, Bloomie, ...ect], but still be a BIGGEST LOOSER.. doesn't makes you a great or profitable trader.

to make money, really, proftable trader need full control in money management, risk assessment, pulling the trigger, exit when you are right, but most important control your position When you are wrong.

It is something many, many are not understanding and refuse to grasp..

Funniest thing is, You can see them on EURUSD thread, - all those "gurus" just to name few: [gatorinla, PayTheLimit, fxtyrant,Ken A,..ect]

When you ask them to show you the 6 month trading history or live Trade explorer, they go "ballistic" - Then you know what they are made of.

But yeah I have to agree with DoskeII, I've experienced the same thing too.

When I first joined the site, I remember I was raking it on with some great trades on e/j and bragged about it on a thread by daddy-something. Now this Daddy something guy also brags about his trades and calls, except he never lists his entries beforehand. He only does it AFTER and says he made so and so pips. When I pointed this out to him and that unlike him, I actually posted my entries (inc stop and tp) before bragging. He got mad and deleted my posts. A year later I noticed he turned into a commercial member selling some service.

This is pretty much typical behavior of "guru" thread starters. They don't post any evidence that indicate their method actually works (like actual entries beforehand or statements from 3rd party sites like fxbook). Later on, if they get a following they typically start to sell some commercial service.

As to whether James16 is a scammer, I vaguely recall his thread and the sonic dragon something thread seemed profitable. I never got around to backtesting if it actually was though.

Bottom line - if James16 started selling some commercial service based on his thread and that service blew, losing people's money while taking fees... then he is a scammer. Now even if he didn't sell some service, the guy clearly vouched for Jacko, who didn't just take fees but actually ran away with people's money! It doesn't matter if it wasn't him personally who stole the money. He helped a scammer to do it by vouching for him, and in most people's book that would be regarded as scamming too.

You see, as funny it looks, but many of those "guru's" are not trained, educated or having ANY formal degree to gave any Financial advice in term of trading or investing. They are actually hiding their performances, and doing that, it is a big Question-mark for their credibility, But also a credibility to the whole site.

Simply put: IT IS ILLEGAL. [ask SEC,NFA or CTFC if you don't believe ]

I still cannot understand, how someone can have so many vouches and sort of title as a "guru" or "senior" based only on "likes" or number of Posts, - but actually NOONE saw his portfolio or trading account.

Only the fact that many "followers" are actuality loosing hips of money following those Gurus, is an alarm to SEC, and probably a mater of time, when they are going to visit this site..

ForexFactory Must change the current policy, where to earn "A" senior status, trader must show his trade history or have live Trade Explorer.
