Depends on where and what the PA is closer to LO, but would be nice to see a rejection of the low from Friday's SO.

I wanted to take the 2 bar reversal today during the US session, but then HiddenGap's avatar popped in my head and said "You are a trend trader no matter what, and the trend is starting to change". So I did not take the 2 bar.. Get out of my head HG!

Also notice the heaviest volume of the day is below the 2 bar, I would have preferred the heaviest volume to be on the 2 bars.

So I have decided that I am going to rename this thread.. VSA with SimpleDev! Why you ask? Because its mine!!

Today I felt like taking it old school. For you youngsters that means using the VSA template on MT4 and using hulls with alerts. When the alert goes off on trend change you starting looking for a couple of signs of weakness (in this case) and then take short any NDs.

Works well in ranging markets..

Green bar marks entry.

I dont know if it is a good test cuz its on very high vol. and befor him you got highest vol. possible squad so watch out

Just my humble opinion, but what crosses my mind is that the JPY pairs have already had a nice rally, now right now it doesn't seem as if there is any major selling but the pairs are vulnerable to a price correction. I think there are better opportunities out there.

Monday I will probably be looking for a reason to sell this, will have to keep a close eye for any strength at the 8900 level. 8900 because one its a round number and two its the top of an old trend channel.

So here the follow up to this post, at the time I didn't post the whole story behind this trade, I was going to after the trade was complete. But what really made me eager to sell GU was the 1h. Sucks the trade didn't work out, but offered the same opportunity again, I wouldn't hesitate to take trade.

Yellow bars are what I saw at the time of the trade.

Hey guys, reading through the thread and still trying to understand and spot 'No Demand' bars on the bar charts, can anyone please comment on this chart to see if I am spotting them correctly, many thanks!

Your 2nd and 3rd are NDs, the rest are not.

Definition of a ND is a narrow spread up bar closing in the middle or lows on low volume.

Don't get caught up in bar definitions, you wont always see perfect bars. The biggest thing about NDs are that they occur after weakness in the background and in a down trend. Your NDs 6-8 you should be able to tell real time they are in a sideways market.

Don't make it complicated find two signs of weakness then wait for the trend to change and short an entry bar.

Remember just paper trade VSA till you can get a 60-70% win rate, some months you will run 60% and some months you can run 80%.

It seems all you need with VSA is a 15m, 1h and daily chart, well today all you needed was a 15m chart.

First lets start out in Asia (orange bar) the highest volume bar being a shake out, then highest volume bar in London was a down bar closing well off the lows, and the highest volume bar in early US was a 2 bar reversal. I didn't show the result of FOMC due to dwarfing the bars that showed the strength prior to today's event.

I did not take this trade well because I was asleep during the FOMC action, hopefully someone out there in VSA land caught it.

Bad time to be short on JPY pairs.

12h chart CADJPY.

A bit of supply came in 9/6 which price pushed through, 9/15 price came back and tested that supply and now a 2 bar reversal... wait, what am I suppose to do when I see strength in an up trend?
