I'm not only a scalper. I make a lot of swinging trades and longer term trades also, but I look at the market environments and have to decide with which strategy I could get more profit. Experienced traders shouldn't have any problems to change the strategy immediately when the market gives the inputs of it.

Personally I use a VPS.

I saw a video on youtube on how to use mt4 on a Mac and there is a program I believe called Crossover. They have a video too. Search for it in youtube.
