Hi darkstar, I bought the book a few months back, but I do not have acces to the chat room. What should I do? I would like to be in the chat to see the live trade calls. Option barriers, how do I trade them?

My trading improved tremendously since I bought the book and joined the chat, and I have to admit that the reward far exeed my initial expectations. Trading side by side in the chat with generous, highly profitable and caring traders like Darkstar, Tyler, EmeraldEyes, etc.. is unvaluable.

If we can correctly gauge sentiment we can predict which way a currency is likely to move … in the direction of the underlying sentiment. The problem is in a currency pair there is another currency in which to analyze the sentiment. This complicates things as it doubles the sentiment analysis which we much do. Additionally sentiment is the same for both currencies, the currency pair may be in a trading range.

For example, if we analyzed AUD sentiment as strongly negative, but also determined that USD sentiment was negative, the AUDUSD pair may be ranging instead of trending. A solution to this is to construct a currency basket which will track a currency index, and then trade the entire basket in the direction of sentiment.

This article will first use a basket of currencies to construct a currency index to see how the currency moves against other pairs which it trades against, then will use a linear regression model to determine the weightings of each currency pair in the basket to replicate the index. Next we will use the index and sentiment analysis in an example to enter and exit a trade based upon sentiment analysis.
The below example will demonstrate this method on AUD, but can be extended to work on any other currency (USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, CHF, JPY, and NZD).

I gotta be honest, I can't make heads or tails of what your doing. Maybe you could post a more conversational explination of what your doing and where your confused?

The order flow is right on the chart. It can be seen when it happens.

Visualize a yoyo. The yoyo rolls down, at the end of the move there is a sudden tension in the string; the yoyo "spins on itself for a few seconds" and then goes back up.

Here is another example (the yo-yo rolls up... spins ==> blue rectangle on the pic <== ... comes down..)

Depends where your at in your development. Learning the concepts and building a system can happen pretty quickly. I have guys in chat right now that went from book to profitable system in 2 months. Developing the discipline to trade a system consistently? Well that's another story...

What I teach, and what we do, is exploit the flow of orders that have yet to hit the market. Charts can tell you where orders are waiting to be filled (and the lessons with explain how to read that info), but that only gets you so far. In order to extract a profit you need NEW orders to hit the market. Determining when and where those orders will come in is the core of Order Flow Trading because once you know that, earning a profit is as simple as getting in ahead of that order flow, and out when it dries up.

How do you do that? Well, it's complicated. That's why I wrote a book, and spent the last 2 years building a community of people who have become successful with it. My goal was to build a resource that anyone who was interested in the subject could use to quickly develop the understanding and skills necessary to be successful. And at this stage, I'm pretty happy with the result.

So my honest suggestion to you is, give it a try. With the new pricing model, it's quite inexpensive to access the lessons and check out the various services we offer. Then you'll know for sure...

thank you very much darkstar.i have trading for 2 years(or better say I am learning trading for two years )I have started with indicators for two months.but I leave them.then I start with price action.i was not bad but still it fails some places.and I know I have to try more in price action.after I find orderflow but unbelievably there are lack of sources and when there is lack of sources for something that thing gets Importand for me
I am learning but still fail.my main problem is fundamental I am truly zero in that.i don't know I have to learn it or not.i hope no need to learn it in depth cus I have to spend 2 more years to learn only that

I think as a trader, having a decent understanding of fundamental analysis can only help you. And it will certainly help you with OFT, but OFT doesn't require too much depth on the subject. You need to understand what the econ data releases are, and have a general idea of what they mean for the economy. That's all fairly easy to grasp though...
