Looks to me like we need some volume fill in the low to mid 33xx zone and since 3330/40 area represents an old broken trend line resistance, it seems a good spot to offer support.

Military personnel hanging out of low flying helicopters near the Navy yard in Washington DC sporting M16 assault rifles.

Wondering if that is what is driving the risk assets lower right now

My sympathies to the families of the 4 confirmed fatalities... even if they are terrorists... A life is a life.

ADD: It seems it is only two shooters (as reported)

I will fade the level directly without waiting for confirmation. If I see a candle close below the stated price then I will hedge the position with a sell (same lot size) until the next support at 1.3292

what I find troublesome is the fact, that now many TF's show a relatively high skewness to the right side of the profiles.

That can mean "trending" with higher prices to come

they are saying multiple shooters, still on the loose...

I used to live 5 min away from the naval yard, that place is like a fortress... the largest naval barracks in the dc metro are 2 blocks from there...

you don't just rock up out of bed one day and decide to start shooting up that part of town, knowing that there are multiple platoons of navy seals/marines living across the street... just sayin...

I actually wouldn't be surprised if they squeezed the long-term bears all the way past 3450 to complete the total cleanout before the stong dollar bull returns & price goes to & remains below the 200SMA. Retail still looks too short & the market-makers have endless cash with which to distribute pain. I would much prefer your scenario though.....
