Disliked{quote} Hi Axlz, are you able to use Alfonso's indicators on Forex Tester 2?Ignored
Unfortunately you cannot
However, this can be seen as a good thing, as it forces you to practice drawing manual zones, which is great

DislikedHi Alfonso, I have been doing lots of testing on the forex tester 2, and I have something I'd like to share. I don't think it is a good idea for us to start taking shorts/longs, if a TL is broken before we reach a higher TF supply/demand area. Usually, price will have a weak move in the opposite direction after TL break, but will then resume it's original trend, towards the higher TF supply/demand. I think trading based on TL break, before we have touched a higher TF supply/demand area, is a low probability trade. We should always wait for higher...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Remember that going long or short when trendline is broken, only applies if price hit a higher time frame SD zone. This is a key principle in Alfonso's teachings. That's why the SD curve is so important. Remember that if we are trading h4/w1 combo, we still have a d1 curve in the middle. When we go short at a weekly supply zone, and trade at each h4 supply zone, we need to understand that at the moment price hit D1 demand, some H4 supply zones are likely to be absorbed, and then, at some point, trend will resume towards w1 demand, and as...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thank you for your response Jsr. The thing is, I am testing H4/D1 combo. Of course I pay attention to where we are on the weekly and monthly TF, but I take profits for H4 at the next D1 demand/supply zone. That is why I was saying it is better to hold it, and not exit trade because TL is broken halfway between D1 zone or move your SL to BE. When using H4 for entries, price will usually always resume towards the opposite D1 zone, after retesting the last valid zone (hopefully the one you entered on). I think this is where we can ascertain...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Axlz Can you post your chart and explain how you make entry , Tp and SL? A picture can speak a thousand wordsIgnored

DislikedGood morning Alfonso I was wondering if you any rules regarding SD zones that are created during Asian vs European/USA trading sessions for various pairs? For instance, if you had an H1 speedbump demand created on E/U during the middle of the Tokyo trading session, and it met all other rules, would you consider it valid? Great thread and very impressed with how much time you've invested in it. Hope you're still finding enough time for the beach! HukIgnored

Disliked{quote} Morning Huk! Thanks for your compliments. Doing my best to help others and myself in the process. Help is bi-directional, by posting my views and rules, I'm influencing on my own thining processes and emotions. It serves as an exercise of auto-control and ego punishmentI have no specific rules as per the SD levels created during the Tokyo markets, well there are some nuances. I mean, I will want such a level to have at least 3:1 RR. During the asian session new levels can be created but due to the lack of liquidity, many won't hold that...

Disliked{quote} VERY well said my friend! I couldn't have said that better than you. You have my vouch now! Thanks for trying to help others in the thread, this is the whole purpose of it all! Rules are on post #1, and maybe there are other nuances I've not had time to add which are scattered around the thread. But there are key thing we can't and shouldn't do even if we see that it works sometimes. These cycles are part of the market dynamics and market making, buy/sell algorithmic robotic selling by the big fishes, it's just the way it's and will be as...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi, If the price level say is between 70-100% of daily supply zone(high up on the curve) and the trenline is broken then is it right to suppose you can go short on lower tf supply level? ThanksIgnored
That's high odds. If you want to trade short at 70%, you don't have all the odds with you, unless there is big resistance, a last month high holding there, etc. I prefer to always wait for the higher timeframes unless a new direction is obvious.
Once we are at the opposing D1 supply, fresh and original, then everything is easier! Look at the charts, price will almost always hit the HFT areas, so why should we anticipate to it? Most of the times, these scenarios will be traps!
Hope that makes sense to you!
Alfonso
