EUR/USD dives as soon as it gets to the penalty area (1.3325).
…and lays on the ground writing until it gets some support at 1.3255.

check the market profile for EURGBP - New point of control for today was formed about one hour ago.
I strongly suggest that this is a lead to the outcome of the Eurogroup meeting.
I expect bullishness on the Euro.

I would say, when the count is correct, we may see soon a small wave 4 up, with more wave 4/wave 5 action to follow down.


Unless the count is not terribly wrong, I have no high expectations on any retrace soon.


Risk is to the downside. Keep in mind: in commodities, especially in Gold, wave 5's normally extend very much (and have very often the most momentum).


But again: I too have no crystal ball

Italian bonds took a right poke there today & got popped into close along with Spain...... someone's getting scared......

Edit: the article suggests it could be Monte Paschi unwinding, if so it could really speed up the sell-off, no one wants to be last out & I reckon there'll be more to-be-nationalised banks that have to get some govt bonds off their books. From what I've read many Italian banks are heavily loaded with govt debt. It's just a vicious circle, the more that gets sold off the less the value of the banks holdings the more chance they need state-help etc.... Something for them to mull over this weekend I guess.

Hi Raza,

If I remember correctly, you posted a similar level based on 78.6 with 161.8 extension. Mine is bat on larger scale with similar prz.

I see abc so retrace based on reaction at prz, but as I believe Infinitus is insinuating, we should still expect impulsive down more.

I apologize in advance if I misrepresent anyone's view here as I have had visitors at the house the last couple weeks and been hard to keep up with all the posts here.
