Who said "This month No"?
You have to look at the bigger picture.
1. The unemployment rate is falling as expected by the Fed
2. The net new jobs report (NFP) is still in positive territory and consistently above 100k
3. The US jobless claims is consistently falling.
4. US PMI figures for both mfg and Svcs is strong
5. The US GDP is above 2%
6. The Fed makes decisions based of future projections and with the latest figures, it looks like their projections are still in line.
7. The latest beige book suggests further improvement in US economy.
8. Bernanke is retiring soon and will want to make sure the taper has started before that.
9. Whatever I have failed to mention above

Very good, larger tf has hierarchical superiority, allowing smaller one to play out for pb. Appears it wants higher on lg tf.

What level are you playing? I am not sure I understand that number.

Very good answer, point by point... I disagree in some points... I'm not sure about taper this month... although It has a big numbers to be done. I disagree in point 3, the jobless is falling because the labour force has had a big drop... the jobless is a percentgaje, that drops if the labour force drop..

Number 8, maybe Ben doesn't want to start so early. or fast... and I've got in mind German elections...It's not good for Merkel a crash in the Stockmarket somedays before the Elections..

0.8775 -0.8833 for intraday or swing. Depends how it goes.

Above mentioned numbers are not Gartley Fib Numbers just my own.

Although short from current high is not bad either( Bearish A Bat..4 hr)...with support to buy around 0.8492.

4 HR tf has hidden Bullish divergence therefore this is NOT a Bat but is A BAT.

I expect to go lower one more time around 0.7960ish..... Once 0.85- 0.8443 is broken.(based on Daily Divergence)

Regarding point number 3, The projections of the Fed never mentioned anything about participation rates, and considering this has to be done for more reasons than the Fed is revealing, it is the published rate that will drive it.
As for Ben wanting to taper or not, related to my comment on number 3 above, it is also a matter of "have to" and not just "want to".
At worst, tapering will be put off till October 30th, but I don't think so.

Hi PT, i understand that you are bearish s&p, but with taper priced in and if no taper(god.. more QE), what arethe implications to the stock market?

Thank you for clarification. I get similar on fibs. Don't mind on daily as plenty of time to watch and play out.

Well, more upside I guess... and in that case for me it will mean selling at a higher price.
Think about it... even the most bullish equity traders/investors expect a nice 20% correction, and if we don't get it, then the upside is very limited and it will be range bound for a long long time.
