to tell you the truth , yes it is , but im watching certain things , ok i been watching CUBE , AND I did some trades before news relise with his devergence strategy , and i tell you that it works , like a sharm , just take a notice what he did last NFP ,

he did 2 or 3 trades right before news 2-4 minutes and was in profit on 2 or 3 pairs :d

My 2 cent. Syria is being used to get Iran involved. If they can ensure Iranian oil is denominated in USD then the Petrodollar can continue until the oil runs out. They just need to rightly screw up Iran first, which is what this is all about really. Using the democracy/ religion/ flying pigs as a cover works just great.

Oil spike: good for oil producing countries. Good for USD (hoarding USD to buy oil).
Long protracted oil-region war that keeps oil prices high for a long period & thus affects world economy, bad for oil producers. Good for USD (risk-on, need USD to buy tsys).

Obviously not quite so simplistic but imo oil war can only be good for the USD. Are there any reasons (bar a nuclear apocalypse) for not starting a war with Iran? Petrodollar, petrodollar, petrodollar.......
