Good morning friends,


sorry for not participating much recently. Have to find my way back into working , and on the other hand I am loaded with long time shorts in EU and GU, smaller long time position long in UJ, long time short on SP500 (which is also a bet on inclining USD), and a swing short on Gold with a target below 1200.

algo has been developed over the course of several years...
the truth is that its not complicated to build... but it takes a human mind several years to internalize and absorb certain ideas... then they seem natural, and then one may wonder why it took so long to get here... its natural progression...

i see many of the guys on this thread, their knowledge is superb in their various areas of specialization, they toss around concepts and charts as if a 2 year old should/could read em, but the truth is, they can do it, after a LOT of building and work... we can all learn something from each other...

if you need some help, i'll be happy to share my experience with you,

Some time ago I had an extra graphics for 4 currency pairs. Including the aud/usd. Maintaining these graphs each day requires extra effort. I decided not to bother with them. Making new chart takes about 20 minutes. Then, however, we need to study the behavior of the currency pair. It can take weeks or even months. I am looking for this oscillator mentioned often by Linda Rashke, called 3/10 oscillator. This is how she describe it: The “3/10 oscillator” is created by subtracting a 10-period simple moving average from a 3-period simple moving average, and then creating a 16-period simple moving average of the 3/10 oscillator. These two lines are useful in confirming wave structure or highlighting chart formations. We call the 3/10 line as the “fast” line, and the 16-period SMA the “slow” line or trend line.

Does anyone know anything about it? THanks.

This chart is in a true scale.
I think everyone sees this, or any triangle.
On green fan price has normal movement: from 1x1 to 2x1. To continue upward, the price should break. At the moment seek support. The question is where the support?

GBPCAD. Weekly.

I know some here sold this pair in the last few weeks & it has since bounced back a little but I think this trade is becoming even more appealing now. I believe GBP is still overvalued & should fall against the USD but the technicals line up better vs CAD imo at present. The weekly CCI/ MACD divergence is still valid & RSI is at its highest in 4 years & usually reverses off these levels. Based on what we saw when we originally got to this point, & what we have seen so far this week, looks it like there is supply here so the 3 year range, as highlighted by a number of posters here already, still looks valid. If we can end the week with a pinbar I think I'll take a short Monday looking for 500+ pips up to year end.
