yea i read the statement and i saw the reaction...then i waited for good strike...went for a quick strike but market stalled but did came out with most of troops...

when you open a position (buy or sell ) you are taking a bet basically .... if not ..it means that you know FOR SURE where the market is going ... and as i don't know where the market is going i consider that each time i open a position im taking a bet ....(because i don't know FOR SURE where the market is going ) so to conclude being trend follower or counter trend trader .... its still a bet for both of us ... (it seems that you think that your bet are smarter than mine ... this is a different story )

when we open a new position we are betting that the market will go in our direction ... i'm wrong ?

you got it right again....market stalled way too long for a BIG rescue to stay...

rescue should be fast and swift...and if u check that time market was just stalled...btw i need to go to bed by 3 to be on real work next day...

and still in rescue mode...may kill all of them and bite a bullet...

Don't leave bird on tree too long, is very stormy weathers.
only if you babysitting or is overnighters.

No the point is that you never know the direction you just assume.
Thats why you in scout mode to feel the market .

the scout mode , i have no problem , i m using scout mode for years already ... its just about trend follower or counter trend issue .. my understanding after reading the thread is always be trend follower , never go against the trend ... is it the right understanding .... ?

I think you are not got it yet.
The market ranging more then trending.
And at this moment you trading too.
Even if there is no trend

Market i don't know but EURUSD is not ranging .... the bears got the ball ... we are clearly in Sell bounce mode ....each bull counter attack failed , each time we make a new low ... so not ranging for me
