is the question about prof. Traders in banks, hedge funds etc.?


If so, then the question can not be answered, because it depends on the goals and the risk-limits set.

I know some prop Traders of banks, which are fine, when they hit 10-20% per year. Sometimes the goals are even lower (much lower).

I've some shorts actual in the market, till 1.3195 (mS1) and would scalp some longs here and there.

The price openings 3209. This means resistance.
According to my understanding, the price can go up to 3218 for resistance. If prices break above 3218 means that 3203 is just penetration.
This, of course, could not happen.

Lost Motion: When applied to angles, lost motion occurs when a price penetrates an important support or resistance angle before it regains the angle and resumes the trend. Keeping a record of the average amount of penetration before the regain, helps a trader determine when a trend changes and with his stop placement.
