Hey Rags you're not alone with this type of advanced thinking I found this on another forum..check out this guys hypothesis tell me what you think the question was is it possible to achieve 100 percent return within a 20 day trading month here' is how this trader answered:

Is it possible yes it is... but is it probable to be sustainable in the long run?....Yes it is also... Let me explain first you'll need a flamboyant and robust approach/strategy/system... then you'll need to know when to stop trading on that account for the month once the 100 percent return is hit...here's some creative thinking to achieving this as an actual reality:

Lets say I have $10,000 and I take $1,000 and go and get 10 live accounts with all separate brokers and after spotting an entry on one currency pair based off system's criteria coming from a 11th DEMO account enter 10 pending orders all across the board on EACH of the live accounts so in essence you'll have 100 pending orders each with a 10 pip sl and 10 pip tp and when all hit we'll end up with 1000 pips which if using the correct leverage and MM will give close to the 10 percent per account needed to achieve 100 percent a month and once the goal is hit stop for the rest of the month.. and if the adrenaline that coursed through your body from just pulling off the fastest 1000 pips you ever made wasn't enough and you want to keep trading because you believe trading gives you a rush and you just can't get enough make a twelfth account...http://live-forextsd.netdna-ssl.com/...eeth_smile.gif and trade that out for the rest of the month....http://live-forextsd.netdna-ssl.com/...ilies/nerd.gifhttp://live-forextsd.netdna-ssl.com/...ular_smile.gif

P.S I understand there is a huge difference between investing/trading and gambling and it all lies upon depending on how much thought goes into a quality execution being portrayed upon the conclusion and then to take the results and expose them for all to see as a union because it is true there is a difference from flipping a coin,picking your favorite number etc.. Since most cry and complain for mercy from the market for being so ruthless like it's gambling anyway why not "go for broke" strategically with a systematic approach and who knows maybe after some time of honing a great skill (which it's clear trading is) we can learn to spot good entry rules that can make you more right than wrong most of the time....hint: 10 pip tp pending limit orders at every 500 or 1000 round number on any pair for starters and I once heard about how on a another note most gaps and in particular to get more specific sunday gaps usually gets filled...this is just a creative thought...aggressive risk taking traders and medium to conservative risk taking traders should understand and feel this as a basic structure in reality that does appear in the fabric of time and is not only just apart of most to all at some point traders fantasies...

More motivation going towards this line of work: 16 sell trades taken producing 3375 pips off a 670 pip run!

As long as it stays above 97,6 level all longs should be good.

Good luck with Your project, it makes alot of sense but I'm not a kind of guy who likes to stay glued to any sort of pre defined Risk to reward ratios or pernement stops of any given number.

This is similar in concept to forexsaint's "Free Account Concept". I would say it can certainly be done....maybe not every attempt, much like forexsaint's documented attempts...but certainly worth the risk.

In the thread's tone - throwing an idea (one of my strategies in separate account).

10 swing trades rougly 500 pips each (cable), each swing doubles the account, so in theory you can obtain 500 000 when starting with 500.

I find this way less stressful - I'm working now on my 6th consecutive successful stage (16k for 32k).

It started as experiment 18 months ago - so far I deduce that with patience and prudence everything is possible :-)

Half asleep but...with a $50 deposit you would have to get some great trades,to make 3-1 or 150.00.You can't trade all 50.00 being = to 50.00.Lets say I am trading the Eur/USD--,at (right now)13241 at 50 to 1 leverage I could only trade 2000 units(or 20 cents) and I would already be over the margin by $2 and change.So you could trade about 1890 or 18.9 US cents per trade.Lets round up to 2000 or 20 cents anyway.So +5 pip= 1 US dollar.You would need to get a consistent (lets see 50=$10, 500 pips = $100, so 750 pips per trade would = your $150 goal ...If you can pull that off in a short time,Hats off to you.Unless I am thinking wrong here.

I'm not saying that this is not possible with 1:50 leverage,
but it will take tad much longer!

(and a high leverage like 1:400 / 1:500 kills most of the newbie accounts, so not everyone can be succ. with this method etc.)
(read first page / first posts... if you succ. land 2-3 trades you earn yourself 4-6-8 chances -depending on the risk you take-)
(thus this system uses the advantage of high leverage with initial very low investment / capital, but even if you fail you will have many more chances)
(you should have really good technical / fundemental knowledge + excellent money management which eliminates %70 of the retail traders, other %25 doesn't feel comfortable trading with this much risk)
(also you need excellent timing + trading skills)
(you are now left with very small % traders who can accomplish this)

Extremely interesting thread, and this is a great idea on how to use the high leverage offered in FX to your advantage. Only potential problem is keeping your win loss ratio above 25% (that % may be wrong).

@ rags2richex, You're not wrong about waiting for the best set ups - thats all I do thesedays, gone are the days where I'd sit at the computer watching the charts all day, I now just place my orders at the end of each day for the following day/following week and leave them until they're hit and either my stop or profit targets gets hit, it really is that simple.

To that end, I will be giving something similar to this a go over the next few weeks, start small and see how far I can get.

Yes its difficult in practise cause its look likes a "knewbie style", but if you have years of experience means patience etc, i think its possible.

I am starting this "game" till 3 days. Only on gold cause you can have good return. I start with 200 and i have 320 right now in 2 trades. First trade on gold win 120 (1423 to 1410) second trade 0.

My strategy is simple and show me 3 or 4 trades a week. The problem is some trade are at night. So since 3 days i had trade only 2 times. had a signal this night to sell gold at 1408 (now 1395) but was sleeping.

So i am sure that its possible. But i am sure thats not easy and only a few people can do this (must have a solid strategy, plan and know yourself).
