I am trading with LMAX MT4 and would like to have 2nd broker with MT4 as well. I am looking for FSA regulated broker with Currenex tighter spreads and reduced "last look provisions" and LCG seem to fit the bill. I would like to know if anyone has got any experience with their MT4 real live trading. I'm particular interested in execution speed and slippage. Also how would your rate their MT4 compared to that of LMAX, CFH, CapMar?

CFH Markets is FSA regulated ECN broker which used by many fund managers
CFH Markets MT4 spreads (most of the time): EURUSD 0.7, GBPUSD 1.2, USDJPY 0.9, AUDUSD 0.9, AUDJPY 1.6, USDCAD 0.9 (source: ONE DMA Variable), It seems their spreads are not the tightest but executions with large orders are good and with minimum slippage under normal market condition, max spread during NFP was 34.9 pips but was only for a second, average spread was usually 20 pips, check out more about CFH feeds on this thread http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=321792

It sound like a technical solution for dating, and it seems to connect different platforms that they offer designed for lazy people who just want the best bid/ offer from all platforms but without a technical solution of their own, but I'm not so sure. http://1forexbrokers.com/2012/11/13/...rm-fast-match/

Not sure how this works. A screenshot would be nice.

Another question regarding the platforms. Per Website, the following platforms are available:

- Currenex
- Gain GTX
- Integral FX Inside
- ICAP EBS
- FXALL Orderbook
- HotSpotFxi
- FastMatch
- FXCM Pro

So how does this work, you fund the account with 20 - 50k and then can choose one of those platforms? For example EBS? Or are there additional costs / restrictions associated with it?

A request to anyone trading live with LCG. Could you please provide a screenshot of only the quotepanel for eur/usd and usd/jpy with market depth. Preferably during peak trading times, ie when US and London are both open.

LCG is no longer offering Services to Retail clients:

We have decided to restrict our Prime of Prime FX offering to non-retail clients only, and have consequently introduced some additional requirements:-

- hold USD250K minimum balance;
- monthly trading volumes in excess of 200mio USD

They still have subsidiaries but most are spread betting brokers.

Yes I was using LCGFX until now. I was doing charting on their MT4 since their prices feed come from currenex and after month it is exactly Currenex prices.

Now I'm moving to LCGMT and I think it will be reliable. Spreads and commissions are higher than LCGFX : 0.3 on majors and 50$ per million. They use Instant Execution at the moment but will move to Market execution in the next coming weeks...

Since CHF event it is more difficult to find a currenex broker for retail : Alpari and Alumfx are now out of business and LCG FX stopped retail. Atom8 should integrate currenex in the next coming month....

Looks like Baxter-FX is the only one left that provides multi-ECN platforms in ONE account still affordable to us retail clients. Their min. account opening balance is $50K.

You can also find Fixi but the minimum deposit is 100k$ in london or even squared financial in dublin. I personnally prefer to stay in England... So Fixi seems to be the only one....

If you don't mind me asking where are you getting this info about LCG FX? If I'm reading this correctly their website still says min 20k http://www.lcgfx.com/retail-professional-traders
