My SD zones on the daily are much higher than Alphonso's sheet. With a high geopolitical risk, I am looking for a big run this week in Gold. Hello alfonso thanks for all the video and taking your time to explain S&D i have been following your since ken lee's thread till you started yours, i have been with you all the way from page one.now i can really see the market as fractals smaller time frame curve in big ones, its all about price moving from supply to demand then back until one fails and the market brakes it then it starts all over again till another brake, that how the market moves.you also made me understand that the best trades comes high up or very low in the curve. my trade defers a bit from yours,but will start to post some chart and explain my bases of entry of the trade.but never taking away the core of your trading rules of demand and supply (thanks very much alfonso

I have a question. Do you guys think it is worth trading speedbumps VS the basings? It seems that speedbumps have a high failure rate, where as the basings have a high success rate? Alfonso, what do you think? I know you have forward tested all of this, so I'd like your opinion. It seems like this would perhaps stop many unnecessary losses and overall increase profits? or am I mistaken?
When we are trending, speedumps are great, just look at the charts, one single pair and analyze the last 20 or 40 d1 sd areas and you will see what I mean. Don't believe what I say, do it yourself, it's the best way to learn, to feel it in ur own bones and see it with ur own eyes. I know what I want to do because I have devoted hundreds of hours analyzing the charts and arriving to all these conclusions. Don't reject speedbumps because u had a couple of losses, and don't accept them just because I say so.
The closer the speedbump is to the origin of the move or higher timeframe, the better. When price has been trending for a while, speedbumps are not that good, you need to break s/r and then they will be good again. You also need profit margin, odds enhancers.
Like I said, maybe I am the 'most experienced' speedbump trader in the thread, I don't know. But one thing is for sure, if I am is because I have spent unlimited hours in front of the charts, nothing else. I am very stubborn!
Speedbumps have many different looks and candle shapes, study them since they are key to trending markets as well as newly broken areas.
Don't believe or do what I say! Do it your way! I can just be a 'guidance', it helps but the hard work is done by you, since it's you who takes the final decision to pull the trigger or not

Let me show you some examples of valid speedbumps. Axlz needed some clarifications on them, and I am sure this will help others as well.
This is the H1 chart on USDJPY which shows my loss and my entry. It shows how the speedbumps work, or at least how I look at them.
The closer they are to the beginning of the move (high in the curve), the better. If they break a previous area, they are good as well. We were high in the curve off a D1 supply, I will take ALL speedbumps that I see, that's for sure. I had a loss, but the good one made me 10:1. Same on EURJPY.
I wanted to scale in (reload) on the new speedbumps on the way down, had some orders there, but no opportunity, pity!
This is the GBPJPY H1 chart which shows that there were entries, but I missed the top one, then there were no more, pity. There were entries on EURJPY, USDJPY, but not on GBPJPY. This is why, even though they are correlated, I trade all of them if the setup fits my rules.
Hope this is clearer now. It's just a games number, if you just want to play some of the cards, then you will most likely choose the bad cards (Murphy's law)
Once we are too low, or we go against the curent timeframe's trend, speedbumps are not good, unless a good area of demand is broken, like the GBPJPY H4 demand area... so on and so forth.
