Maybe if you offered a real incentive like cash, not some free subscription to a worthless signal service.

I'm kind of going to second this post; it's just that if you sweetened the deal by offering something more, other than a free subscription it might do the trick..not saying you need to fork out cash, but something better than a free 1 month subscription

To Kanzler and Forexnuts... thank you for your input! We believe that our offering of a month of service from our trading group is as good as cash, thus we are going to keep the offer as is.

Honestly, even though you didn't take the poll yet, your input is helpful to me. I get it man. The FX space is full of scammers and shysters. I haven't exactly picked the easiest place to start a new business.

Most people are just pissed off because they (1) either got burned when they were new (i.e., here's a list of bots I used: Forex Megadroid, Forex Crescendo, Forex Hacked, Forex Evening Trade, among others - and then BS signal services that didn't work: Honest Forex Signals, among others) or (2) they were straight out scammed.

Most folks are in the first category.

My point is simply this... I'm not coming on here thinking that I'm going to sell subscriptions by posting on this forum. That's why I haven't been indiscriminately posting the name of the service. People often trust what they find themselves. I truly am interested in finding out what people want; I'm not trolling for clients. I logged back in to my Polldaddy account today and was surprised to see several more responses.

I think I'm resonating with folks... they are upset with the product offerings. I can think of four or five high quality offerings for signal services in the stock trading recommendation category. Several more in futures. Only one in FX.

I would like to add another.

The gripe I have with signal services in particular is that they're always vague and there's never any hard data on whether they work or not - because they don't. If they did the owner would have very little incentive to share. How many of these services that you know of in equities and commodities would you put your own hard earned money on? It's easy to say you'd do it but I think if the time came to putting the money on the line you would balk like any reasonable person without seeing the data.

A lot of them are out there that tout excellent returns on risk, but at best they don't tell the whole truth and at worst it's a complete fraud with hidden hedges used to veil losses, but that's plenty enough to pull in suckers who get greedy and ignore their intuition that something isn't quite right.

I've seen this over and over again and it's never anything new. If you want to make a great impression, prove to your customers that you make good trading calls based on entering at low risk areas and making good returns from that over time, not by multi-account deception, baffling with BS or risking it all through not taking losses or playing with the martingrail. Just my two cents, nothing personal.

I agree and disagree!

1- It agree that it is difficult to verify prior to putting down money whether or not what they say is true. Honest Forex Signals.com has a "signed letter" from a representative at their broker, they have dozens of account statements posted... after 6 months... I was down almost 800 pips.

2- I disagree about "incentive" to share. Even if a high quality signal service attracted 200-300 retail traders.... it's likely that would only be representing $2 or to $4 million dollars... hardly a drop in the bucket for daily forex volume. It wouldn't "ruin" their system by losing their edge. No, a good service would have a LOT of incentive to share because attracting 200-300 retail traders at even a modest subscription fee (say $77 per month) could generate an extra $15k per month for such a trader.

Once again... thanks for all the comments and responses. I hadn't logged in to my Polldaddy account for several days, and I was pleased to see several more responses!
