Hi, i have one question. It's possible to create strategy if you see traders trading history, but you don't know what method/strategy or indicators he use ?

Indicator no. Strategy yes.

That's not the point. I want to know what triggers his entries to make those "high-probability" trades and this is the relevant thread (read thread title). If you don't know or don't care, that's fine of course. Figuring out his money management is also of interest.

Another strategy/method I wanted to study is this one, but I haven't got permission from the trader to reveal his name or show his trade history in public ......

Way too many possiblities. There's some that don't use any set methods or indicators too.

Agreed. Even if one can reasonably guess just the gist of the strategy being used, it might not be useful if we don't know what goes on in the trigger-puller's head. The same strategy used by two different traders with different expectations and different risk aversion profiles will yield different results.

I would re-formulate the question: Is it easier to reverse engineer a strategy from the trader's history or to find a equivalent startegy?
Or simply: Is the cost of reversing lower than the cost of researching your own?

It's part of the process of researching too, get ideas from various sources. They are not mutually exclusive.

But if you're in this forum long enough, you will hear the same old cliches being quoted over and over again to talk down on newbies (or even treat experienced members like newbies).

@OP are you trying to inspire yourself or trying to steal the hard work of somebody else? If you search some inspiration maybe you can just kindly ask the guy, at least for the rough idea about his method.
